Just booked our first Haven suite on the Getaway- while we usually don't have an issue with the regular beverage package- does one need the Plus package to enjoy the "full Haven experience" ? I assume you can pay the difference but are there many options in the Haven area that are above the $15 price?

Random question- there isn't a Haven area on the GSC, right? I know there is the area with the Villas- just wondering if there was an Haven amenities as well.

Curious re the drink package & the Haven- I thought I saw somewhere that you should get the Plus package to really enjoy the Haven alcohol options is that true? And you get Starbuck "like" coffee? We're thinking about upgrading (not through bid process) and just trying to see what additional costs are involved if we up grade (understand service charge is higher and we'll be tipping Haven personnel in addition) I thought I saw some comment (either in CC or FB) that mentioned the hidden charges of Haven. TIA PS we'll be on the Getaway out of NYC in March if that makes a difference

Heads up- rain going to snow & back to rain coming in- may end up being NY's first measurable snow. I see NYC's lights just off the bow on the ship's camera- guess you'll be docking a few hours earlier. Thanks for the info and safe travels home.

So no late night snacks- I thought there were cookies- and some food in the Buffet area till 11:30 pm ? I know the Getaway doesn't have the Great Outdoors like the Jewel line- but I thought I remembered stopping for cookies & ice cream later than 10 pm

We're in the same boat NYers - 72 & 66 with Medicare C Plan though employer (larger ASO group). Have some pre existing conditions that are managing well - our 2 2022 cruises purchased through cruise line (NCL) their premium plans, was also looking into annual plans as we do plan on a few more cruises this year- just booked one for March 2023. Any suggestions as we've hit the same walls as a NYer- would like CFAR as well as medical - especially transport - that's what scares me the most. And can you carry more than one policy- or different policies? I think I've read enough that I know less now then I did before. TIA

I'm wondering about the rollator as well (yea don't like the limited hallway blocked) - agree it's hard not to report but it's a safety issue for all. I'm not sure if I've read somewhere that the room stewart - will come by & pick it up to store overnight. Just not sure why owner wouldn't want to close it & store in the room. Thanks for your updates- we just booked the 10 day cruise leaving on Mar 26, we were on the GA back in Oct. Glad to see the CD has changed wasn't impressed with one on our cruise. We had similar comments regarding food temp & service on our cruise- hoping it picks up during your cruise.

Do all the Club Balcony Suites have a tub/shower set up - or just a shower? I know in the past it was the combo- I've been told that they have been upgraded & the tubs removed- can anyone who has been on the Pearl recently- confirm? We currently have a balcony room because we don't want a tub- but we did put in a bid for Club Balcony- fingers crossed if we get it- there isn't a tub.
