We had a lovely day today. Light rains went away and temps were good so we went for a nice walk.
We started at the small marsh area we visited a couple of weeks ago. The mama goose is still on her nest with proud papa nearby.
We thought it was a bit early for eggs to hatch but saw this small family a few minutes later.
We then went to another marsh area close by. At one time, as I understand, was big enough for water-skiing. Now it's overgrown and attracts lots of fowl. We did see one turkey, prominently showing his glorious tail fan.
We did a little over 3 miles. It felt so good to get out. More rain on the horizon.
