  4. Good morning everyone, happy Friday. Thank you for the daily report. I’ll be the millionaire that has to go to work today but I’ll be walking not biking. It’s important to be aware of our endangered species so that they hopefully survive. Not sure what the meal suggestion is so I’ll wait it out. The drink sounds like it might be nice.   5. Good morning all. Thanks for the daily report and lists. Cheers to boys (and girls) clubs today. We received two pepper plants yesterday that we will plant today. Accessibility is so important for many so it’s critical that we’re aware. I like Twain’s quote today, so like him. The meal and drink suggestions sound interesting and I’ll bet very tasty.   6. Good morning everyone from a sunny Boston. I would love to visit a museum today. Every day is no dirty dishes day, my first paying job was as a dishwasher so I learned early on. I don’t have any relatives nearby that I could visit, I think I’ll email one of them today. I really like today’s quote, I’m going to print it out an put it on my bedside table. The meal suggestion and drink sound very nice although I’m not sure what they are yet. I haven’t been to today’s port but I do have some vanilla beans from there. Prayers for everyone on our list.   7. Good morning everyone. It will be a pleasant day here. Thanks for the daily report and lists. I don’t celebrate pack rats because others are often left to deal with their hobby. It’s important to have hypertension controlled so we should all be aware. My favorite dinosaur would be Dino from the Flintstones. Rather harsh but funny quote by W.C. I don’t own anything purple so I can’t help there. I can relate to the quote from time to time. The meal suggestion sounds very tasty but not the drink.   9. We live in Boston’s South End. We were originally going to fly down but decided to take the train to Newark. We’ll be spending a couple of days in Jersey City to visit with friends that we haven’t seen since before Covid. We are going to wing it on our own but will do the Horseshoe Bay beach transfer excursion on the last day. We really like Celebrity as well and tend to alternate between them and Holland America. We cruise at least once a year, sometimes more. Can’t believe how close it’s getting.
  10. Was able to make it to the Black Falcon Pier and see the Zandaam docked. Slowly things are getting back to normal.
  11. Good morning everyone. Thanks for today’s report. I salute fallen police officers. I will eat any chocolate chip cookies that cross my path. There’s a reason that White Castle burgers got the name sliders but they were delicious just the same. Today’s meal sounds vert tasty but I don’t really like alcohol in my coffee but I enjoy both separately. I haven’t been to today’s port but am enjoying the photos. Knowing that Zandaam is coming in to port shortly I think we will reroute our trip to the grocery store so that we can see the first bhb here in a couple of years.   12. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily report and lists. Going to be quite warm and overcast here today, perfect weather to start planting the plants that we bought last evening at the garden center. Won’t be dancing like a chicken but will salute the migratory birds including our resident chimney swifts who were happily chattering in the sky yesterday. I guess it depends on what classics Twain was referring to. The meal, drink and wine all sound quite nice. We’ve been to Sint Martin several times and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.   13. Thanks for the daily report. Happy Friday the 13th everyone. Finally a warm day here! Well I don’t like blame someone else day so I won’t be celebrating that. I do like frog jumping day, some of the contests are pretty amusing. Love the line from the Lennon song, knowing what happened shortly thereafter has always made the song seem slightly melancholic to me. Not sure what the meal suggestion is so I’ll have to wait on that. I’d give the drink a go though. Haven’t been to today’s port and look forward to seeing the photos from it.   14. Good morning everyone and thanks for the daily report. Chronic fatigue syndrome day is celebrated on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. I enjoy reading limericks some are very funny. The meal suggestion sounds very tasty as does the wine. Have not been to today’s port, I anticipate some nice photos later.   19. That’s wonderful! I remember when I was young the society editor would call house to house soliciting news stories for the society column. Weddings, showers, graduation parties, first communion parties, all were fair game to be published in the Petoskey News Review. Some of the old columns are still available here and there and are very entertaining to read. The book of faces predecessor!
  20. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily report and lists. Happy Mother’s Day, the most important job in the world. Irises are beginning to bloom here. A salute to the Red Cross and all of the good work that it accomplishes. I agree that VE day should be replicated in the Ukraine. The meal sounds delicious and like @grapau27Graham I’m allergic to penicillin but I think that I’d make an exception and take that “shot”. I was in Lisbon once and lost my camera there. It was Springtime and remember some spectacular flowering trees that were in full bloom. They were a periwinkle shade of blue. I also remember delicious fish dishes. Prayers for all on our list including our across the hall neighbor David who was laid to rest yesterday, a kind, sweet soul who was in a league of his own.
