The meal suggestion sounds delicious but we will be having our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner this evening, homemade Borscht, shrimp cocktail, salmon scones, pierogis with cookies for dessert, there’s an empty setting for anyone without a place to go! Happy Thanksgiving! Just decompressing after hosting dinner today. I highly recommend Ina Garten’s recipe for dry brining and preparing the turkey in advance of your guests arriving, a game changer for us! I’m too pooped to comment on all of today’s selections but not too pooped to say that I’m thankful for all of the friendship and camaraderie that this daily thread gives.
