"Night life on Oceania" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Back in 2019, we were arriving at LHR with a significant amount of luggage, so we booked a private transfer on our own. The firm provided an MPV (Mercedes Benz Viano) and, to go from LHR to the Hilton at Ageas Bowl, was £154.70 + 10% tip (£15). I've just taken a look at the current rates and the same trip would now cost £202 + 10% tip (£20). US$79 isn't a bad deal at all!

We did Oceania's 10-day "Celtic Kingdoms" back in August 2019. Southampton to Southampton, with stops in England, Scotland, and Republic of Ireland. We're glad we did it, but the weather was c-c-c-cold. There's not a single, outdoor picture where we weren't bundled up. Also, the rain was frequent and some tours were relegated to saying, "If you could see out of the windows, you'd be looking at..." Our stop in Glasgow was bypassed because the weather was so bad that we couldn't safely enter the port. I don't know if our experience was typical, but - were I to do it again - I would bring warmer clothing and more closely consult a weather site that contains historic data.

Dang!!! It's been 10 years!!! Take the cruise simply because you'll both enjoy it and bring an engagement ring as the birthday present!!! Just a "thought or suggestion"... 😅

Princess' coffee is one of the main reasons I stopped cruising with them years ago. I simply couldn't get up every morning and bear what they were serving. Oceania's run-of-the-mill coffee is pretty terrible, but it's still better than Princess' best. In our morning room service, we order 2 carafes of coffee and and 2 double espressos to mix in after the butler leaves.
