  1. I have only taken on board the allowed two bottles of wine. I would think that if you voluntarily give it to them, they would hold it. Texas is a little different when it comes to taxes on liquor, they usually have a tax collection station as you disembark so make sure you have the "I paid taxes" on your bottle or you may end up paying taxes again. Or maybe keep your purchase receipt handy.

RCCL announces their deployment release schedule in advance, letting you know the week various itineraries are released. The actual day the itineraries are released they'll also include the date they are available for booking and Crown & Anchor members have exclusive access to book beginning one day prior to that; the announced day is the day they open to everyone.

Keep in mind that basically anyone who has ever been on at least 1 Royal Caribbean cruise (or has a matchable status on Celebrity or Azamara) is a Crown & Anchor member. I forget now what they say... 11 million members, or is it 14 million? Still it doesn't really narrow it down much. 🙂

Were do they announce there deployment schedule. I don't believe I have ever seen an official deployment schedule.

  3. I have read this thread from start to finish and I understand there are many home ports. The port I am waiting for is Rome. The 2020 cruises to the holy land leave from Rome so are there any predictions about royal doing this run again in 2021. There are three sailings in 2020, one in October and two in November, seems to be scheduled just before they do their TA. Any thoughts are appreciated.

  4. Recently on Serenade, I was able to get a sort of English breakfast in the MDR and the windjammer.  American bacon, if you look around on the buffet they did have British sausage, fried tomato halfs, baked beans, fried eggs and surprisingly black pudding.  Couple of days I had to ask for black pudding,  but twice it was on the buffet.

  5. We went for the day to Secrets, really nice beach, great lunch with wine on the beach restaurant, many other restaurant choices, beach bar service. Pricier than mr. Sanchez and nachi but it was really good and along the same road.

We are on the Serenade next week and just got an email from the Concierge.  Diamond Plus and Pinnacle members are allowed in the Concierge lounge with the Suite guests according to the email.

Nice to know, we sail on Serenade on April 15th. Sometimes it depends on the number of diamond+ there are onboard, sometimes they will open up a larger lounge.

We are doing the TA end of the month. That could be limited access.  I'm sure you will be fine.  Serenade CL is really nice. Say hi to JJ and Mario from John & LaLa.

I will be sure to do that, also have to say hi to Mario from our friends Lisa and Guy.  I will certainly do that if we get in.

Most of the time as of now. Some exceptions on specific cruises with lots of C&A

Thank you, first time sailing as diamond plus next week on Serenade would be really disappointed if we could not go in, however the diamond club has the same items for drinks and eats.

  9. Today I called RCL to let them know that I would like to be seated at a table for 6.

I was advised that those requests need to thru the TA.  I asked about rcl_dining and advised

that I have used this before. Customer service said this process has been eleminated.

Next, I try the TA, and received this message: "table assignments are on a request basis only and must be

confirmed onboard the ship with the dining manager."

Does anyone have information or advise.

  10. Jewel of the Seas is going to the Holy Land October 2019. I am hoping that the same will happen in 2020 but it looks like I will have to wait until March/April next year to find out.

That is the one I am interested in 2020 holy land. I have usually booked as much as 2 yrs in advance on some cruises but this looks like it will be 18 months if we have to wait til next year.
