  1. That too is a possibility daKahuna. But as most of us realize if you can locate a good bar followed by an even better bartender to make you a perfect drink...cash is always appreciated and understood in any language as a gesture for their service. At least its worked for us on RC.
  2. That's not going to happen ! Almost like being tantalized to eating the forbidden fruit and pay for it later. I'm thinking each cabin must have a sign by the water in the room letting you know?
  3. YIKES!!! if RC can't keep the Windjammer clean along with the bathroom up to a high standard then I don't blame you for taking another look elsewhere.
  4. Or, as we also have the drink package for our upcoming cruise ask the bar tender if we can get a couple of cans of water AFTER we give him a little for his services ...maybe???
  5. Thanks to everyone who have replied to the topic. It's been a while since we've cruised on X while having six bottles of water waiting for us in our cabin being D+ on her sister line.
  6. Yes, thank you jelayne, Janedo2012 posted the benefits a little while back. And unfortunately bottled water isn't one of them. Just good to have in the cabin. That's ok, we've got the Icon to look forward to in 10 months.
  7. Yes, understood unlike sister line Royal when you're in a higher tier, thanks for your reply cruisestitch

  9. I'll have to look up what the Persian Garden perk is all about on only one port day.
  10. One more quick question, I appreciate all of your information to date. We're in Celebrity's Elite status, does that status provide any complimentary bottled water in the cabin as does sister line Royal where we're D+.
  11. Janedoe2012 have you specifically been on the Silhouette in the last couple of years? If so anything stand out in your estimation anywhere on the ship? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated, I have an April 2024 cruise coming up.
  12. Like Royal, are guests on all Celebrity ships offered either a morning or evening cabin attendant cleaning and makeup? Thanks in advance to those who reply.
  13. Not as far as I know, it's not a Shore Excursion, if it was we didn't do it as such, why pay them when you can take a van /taxi.. We arrived at the Boatyard from getting off the pier. That same taxi came back to pick us up at a designated time we told them. The taxi fare is relatively inexpensive also being a round trip. Barbados isn't like some of the other islands when it comes to taxi and van rates. Don't skip the Boatyard whatever you do !
  14. I'm happy to read your post, enjoy your next ports and the Beyond !
  15. Yes, I would think that too, after all, the cruise line right down to the Captain of the ships to maintenance and the cabin attendants should all be aware of this on going problem with this class of ships. Thanks for your reply Oceansaway17.
  16. Sounds like a plan !! Have a great time Lastdance !
  17. Thanks for your review Mrs_Tiki. much appreciated ! If possible, please let us know how things are going at least by the nearing of your cruise.
  18. Again, thank you RTShaker, for your insight and photos. I'm looking into booking on the Silhouette in 2024 from all the good information received.
  19. I'm so used to unobstructed views from the larger Royal ships. So in your opinion for the Silhouette, skip deck 6, possibly 7 or how about deck 8 for a less obstructed view, after the hump but still midship thoughts anyone?
  20. But if you aren't do I gather looking straight down from a deck 6 balcony you'd be looking on top of the lifeboats? Question Helen, I'll assume the balcony doors on the Silhouette are the same sliding doors like other balcony doors have as opposed to what the E Series ships have.
  21. Would deck six be too close to the lifeboats if staying in a mid ship cabin when looking down or would you say deck 7 is a better choice being in a mid ship cabin? Thanks in advance to those who reply
