  1. All Players Club Members should check the deals being given right now:

First let me say that I had promised myself & my finances that I was NOT going to go on a cruise this year.....

So last night I get a call from my PVP (love the guy) and he left a message saying that I qualified for a free interior cabin. After getting the message, I go on-line & check my available deals.

Lo & Behold - there lurks a "Pack & Play" deal that there is NO WAY anyone could resist. Lots of cruises to choose from. So, my deal is this:

8 Day Southern Caribbean on the Breeze for August 30th. For me & my sister in a balcony, the charge was going to be $ 471.66 total for both of us - WHAT?!

Today before I made the booking, my daughter calls & she wants to go - okay - 3 in a balcony total $ 776.49 - still a great deal, but my PVP wasn't satisfied - "let me see what else I can do" How bout a Balcony & an Interior right across the hall (so my 27 year old daughter can stay out partying to the wee hours without disturbing us) - total bill for BOTH cabins $ 677.49. WHAT!!! PLUS a $100 OBC for each cabin - so basically it's $477.49 for 3 people in two cabins!!!

So - that's 8 days on the Breeze (which I can't wait to see) - to the beautiful southern Caribbean (3 of the 4 ports I've never been to) - me enjoying a balcony cabin & the peace and quiet of kicking the daughter to another cabin & the 3 of us will basically be paying less than $160 each!!

Gotta love Carnival & my great PVP

I'd really hate to see your daughter come back to her cabin in the middle of the night by herself. Tell her I'd be glad to join her so she don't have to party alone, :D

  2. You do pay for the lift but the beach is walking distance so the lift isn't a necessity. Also the free chairs are actually better than the ones u pay for. The free ones are in the front row.

  3. We're going to take a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise. We will have two days in Cabo. On the second day, my DH and I were thinking it would be nice to go into town just the two of us. Will we be able to leave our kids (7, 9, and 10 years old) in Camp Carnival for 4-5 hours?

I have never been to that port before but I know that camp carnival is always open at other ports.

  4. They have don't have beaches on the mainland so you would either have to book a beach excursion or take the water taxi to one of the islands.

  5. Are you sure about your final payment date? Final payment is usually 60-75 days prior to departure date depending on the number of days of the trip. If you are sailing June 22, final payment would be due sometime in April, not the end of May. Just don't want you to miss paying it late!

I'm also cruising a 7 day on June 22nd & my final payment is the end of May. They recently ran a special which was $50 deposit with final payment due 30 days before sailing.

  6. What fixable problems haven't been fixed?

When did this ship 1st sail? Last spring/summer? I read about the problems since then and thought surely it would be fixed by November, WRONG. I'm talking about the leaks and sewerage. That sewerage is disgusting. For an ENTIRE week they had 2 buckets with something that looked like blue hospital bed pads catching sewerage leaks near the sushi & steakhouse area. The picture area smelled VERY VERY strong of sewer as well. One day it rained very hard and the balcony rooms below the lido deck were leaking.....etc etc etc

I just think carnival has had plenty enough time to fix the problems. When I read complaints about buckets or sewer I get angry at carnival.

I had a great trip and would sail on the sunshine again.....I'm just disappointed in carnival.

People on this forum somehow forget that its designed for opinions and everybody has their own opinion with a right to express it.

I didn't let the negative things stop me from enjoying the ship. People just need to sail on that ship and form their own opinion. I'm happy for those who didn't experience this on their cruise.

  7. I did it once but purely by accident, I play the same numbers all the time and I forgot I had already purchased my tickets and bought them again. Low and behold I got 5 out 6 numbers twice. It was so fluky considering I have played these numbers for 20+ years and the time I won I won twice. Not huge amounts though even with 5 out of 6 numbers I won $1100.00 x two.

So I guess it can happen :D

  8. Well, strange things do happen. Just saw where a couple won the lottery 3 times in one month. One over a million and the other two in the 7-800 thousand. So maybe it was legit :D ..... then again, it could have been a setup

I saw that on the news and wondered, HOW. One of the wins I think he bought 5 lotto tickets with the same numbers for the same drawing & won. Who does that?

  9. Thanks. We will be cruising 2 weeks after my son turns 15 so I'm a but worried about him hanging out with the older bunch too. He thought he was an adult in CircleC so I can only imagine

I will search for a schedule but do you know what time Club02 is done at night? I know CircleC was about 1:00 am
