I've read some CC post about luggage service companies that take your large suit cases from the ship direct to the airport. Basically once you put your bags out the night before you don't see them again until your home airport carousel. Any service available in Tampa?? Thanks, RedRover

Could be breaded vs "naked" wings. I think in the past CC post it is possible to order them "naked", today??? RedRover

To me it's all about the bathroom size. Depending on each ship some have a large shower and others a tub/shower combo. RedRover

I can deal with Covid, Flu, etc. however, what bothers me the most is catching Norovirus on a cruise ship!!! Can't imagine getting off the ship with the "symptoms"! I've had them all (not on a cruise), and vaccinate every chance, tell me when there is a vaccination for Norovirus (if it's possible). RedRover

We are sailing Jade in Dec and never tried YouTube until recently, have enjoyed the videos, however some can get "long". Plus they are available to non-subscribers and on our TV. RedRover

Tampa is close to the cruise terminal and not nearly as busy as the 3 east coast docks. With all being said, I'd find the airport that gets you to & from Canada with the best flights and then find the cruise itinerary that you like the most.

Thanks all for your suggestions and MCMOMMY for your glowing review! I guess 1 thing I really enjoy is watching the "pier runners" at a port, with a drink in hand. I'm sure I can find a comfortable spot in the shade to enjoy the "early show"! RedRover

Thanks, didn't realize the promenade deck had seating, will have to check it out. The great Outdoors is also on my radar. I enjoy after returning to the ship, showering, getting off all the sunscreen finding a nice shady spot to have a drink. Thanks, RedRover

We are looking forward to our 14 day Caribbean cruise in Dec on Jade. We have been spoiled on our past NCL cruises with the Waterfront. Nothing like getting a drink in the afternoon at a Waterfront bar and watching the world go by! Does anyone have a recommendation for the Jade on the same experience besides the Outdoor venue on Jade??? RedRover

We love Costco! However don't think there is one on Key West, especially close to the cruise ship terminal 😏 We are sailing out of Tampa, maybe go by the Costco to see if they are sampling Key Lime Pie 😄 I was never a scout master however my contribution to the camping trips was I cooked for the scout leaders. They said it was hard to go home from a trip explaining to their spouses why they gained weight!!! My scout name from the leaders was "Honey" !!!

Years ago, flying or cruising with checked bags I use small bright colored zip ties (like 3") can also use on non lockable zippers. I have a cheap pair of wire cutters I leave in a checked bag pocket that I can cut them off. RedRover

We are going to Key West in Dec on Jade. We are considering the Old Town Trolley. Is it the hop on and hop off version or is it a NCL limited stop version, apparently each cruise line has various versions? We had rather do Old Town vs the free Duval Loop, we like the narration of Old Town, however hop on hop off is a must! Thanks, RedRover

I've done a lot of reading about the best Key Lime Pie in Key West and have narrowed it down to 5 with the 1st 3 the probable's. Thoughts? Any thoughts about taxis, Uber/Lyft, van service being limited for a ride from port to TPA on the morning of the 24th???

We've done a Behind the Scenes tour, it was on a different cruise line. If it's offered on a sea day it's a great way to spend part of your day, really enjoyed, learned a lot worth the $'s. With that being said, been there done that, probably wouldn't pay again, figure all are about the same.

We've sailed on the Escape & Breakaway and really enjoyed the Waterfront! Now we are booked on the Jade for a 14 day, looking forward to the "smaller" ship however will really miss the Waterfront.

Is it possible to switch out the sparkling wine that comes with the mini suite for a regular wine. If so best contact besides cruise consultant? Our person I believe is out, hasn't answered email and phone goes immediately to unavailable for a week+. RedRover
