I watched that also.I enjoyed that .Downtown Sydney where I have never been reminded me of downtown Toronto where I have been many times.

Graham:I watched the New Year celebration on BBC You Tube .It was great. I normally do not watch the singers on the US shows but I did last night.Duran Duran was at the NY show.Simon ,the oldest band member looked younger than the other guys.

60 years ago my then girl friend and I were in Times Square on New Years Eve to see 1963 come in.I will never forget that night.For some reason I never went back on a New Years Eve.

2022 was not a good year for me.I need a much better year.

I am feeling better,MJ.The PA prescribed an antibiotic believing that due to my age and mobility issues I may get Pneumonia but I conversed with my niece who is an MD and she suggested that I wait a few days to see how I am feeling

I was not aware that Bob passed away.I was so worried about him .I just told Toby.We are both teary eyed.

I fear that my problems that I had until about an hour ago were not related to anything viral but to my Parkinson’s and there is no cure for that .

I was not physically able to get to my doctor.Instead I went to an Urgent Care Center close to where I live.The PA who I saw asked if I had the Covid vaccine and booster.Even though I replied that I had he said he would like to do two plus a flu test.All were negative.

I was coughing all night ,non stop.I do not have an appetite and I cannot walk on my own even to the bathroom.I have a doctors appointment this afternoon.Thanks for your post,Debbie.

I woke up this morning feeling like I had the Flu or Pneumonia.I was coughing non stop and had chest pains from the coughs.I did not have an appetite and could not walk at all.Now I am feeling a lot better after using Tylenol ,AYR and Flonase.

I posted on a Brooklyn Nostalgia message board from 1999 when it opened.It is still active today.The longest running nostalgia board on line. We had get togethers in Brooklyn restaurants.As I posted previously a NYC magazine decided to do a story about the board and asked the owner to recommend 2 people to discuss why they joined the board.I was one of the two chosen.A few years later I began posting on cruise message boards.At one time there were 19 and I posted on all of them.These were people from all over the world and we had in person get togethers.

We encountered a Jewish CD on the Grandeur several years ago.He made sure that our cruise had all the necessities to celebrate Hanukah.

It would definitely sell out .Doo wop will be around forever.I know someone who has been singing Doo Wop professionally since 1959 and still appears in 50 concerts a year on land.

Ice cream on a ship cannot compare to an ice cream parlor in any town where people reside,IMHO.

I have met more than 20 people on internet cruise boards who I became friends with off line.I e-mail with 13 people who post on CC and have met several in person even two who have posted on this thread.
