My niece,the MD always says that .However,I believe it is likely that you have the same feeling as she does about becoming a doctor to help people and when you do the negatives are forgotten.

We still have a phone on the kitchen wall and a phone on a night table .I have great difficulty in holding a cordless phone or cell phone because of my hand tremors from Parkinson’s.I have been using the speakerphone lately even though I do not like to do so. My parents never had a car,that was not a problem for them.I had my first car when I was 29.

I lived nearly 60 years without the internet and even longer without a cell phone.I have three friends who have never owned a computer,a cell phone and do not have answering machines on their home phones.They also do not have automobiles.None ever seem to have a problem .I last drove in 2003 due to medical issues.

My grandparents died before I was born.My father was the youngest of 15 .I only knew 2 ,a sister and a brother.My father did not have a formal education.When he came to the US in 1913 he worked in a factory.He self educated as did my mother.When my father retired in 1961 he was President of a division of one of the largest Labor Unions in the US.

My father was born on this date 127 years ago.Can you imagine life in 1895 ? There were no in home radios,no TV’s ,no electrical appliances. My grandkids cannot understand how I lived without TV or a telephone till 1952.

Supposedly it will snow in my area approximately 5 AM.Showers we’re predicted for today beginning this morning but so far it is just very cloudy.

I had journals of my life from age 13 to 47 but stopped writing for some reason. Several years ago my daughters bought me a book that asks various questions about a person and I am now updating that every time there is a change.

1n 1965 ,my cousin Marilyn Michaels had the lead role in the National Touring company and a few years later had the lead role with a Long Island theater.

We also saw it in 1969.We still have the playbill and tickets stubs. We enjoyed it very much.

Wow.I am the first to be born in the US .Both of my parents were born in Poland .In 1990 one of my cousins went to the city where her father and my mother (siblings) were born.She took with her copies of all documents I had that were my mothers and the same for her father and she was unable to find any ancestry information.

Alas,we were only there once in 1996.We were in Reno in 1999.

That is great.I cannot go back at all because my father was born December 12,1895.I never knew my grandparents on either side.
