We have a family friend who served in the IDF rising to one of the highest ranks ever for a woman. I have a cousin who is an Opthalmologist in Israel who served .My father had friends who relocated from Romania to Israel . My niece Avila lived and worked in Israel for many years.My son in law Gershon and his two brothers lived there.However,not is all milk and honey there as I am sure that you know.

The sister of one of my friends lives in Israel with her 8 children.They are Ultra Orthodox and none have ever been in the military.They have a religious exemption .

The Ultra Ordodox in Israel are exempt from military service ,I believe.

Not every Israeli citizen has served in the armed services .CO’s have not. Yom Hazikaron is an annual day of rememberance.

Is that the only DL on the ship because it was definitely a lounge .They had food and beverages.When we left we told the crew members at the door that we stopped to spend some time with our friends.I am visibly disabled.Perhaps seeing this they did not have a problem .I have no idea. It is a moot point now and does not warrant further discussion.😀

I might be .We walked toward an end of the ship,I cannot recall the deck.There were crew members outside the entrance to the lounge checking sea pass cards.We said we are going to the religious service and we were allowed in.It was a right turn for approximately 20 feet .After we exited our friends called to us and we sat with them .They referred to the lounge solely as the DL.

I saw Gordon Lightfoot in concert many years ago.To see him sing the song live was so very moving.

I did not know I was breaking a rule .I was at a religious service and the only way I could enter the room was walking through the Diamond Lounge. Friends of mine were in the lounge and beckoned me to come and join them which I did.I did not partake in the offer of food and beverages.I merely had conversation.

I know nothing about the UK

We were on the Anthem in 2019.Our friends were Diamond ,we were lower .We just followed them into the lounge and sat down.

It was not snowing two days before.We were never in Fla and wanted to see as much as possible of the state.We were going to leave Saturday Morning and did not arrive till 11:30 PM Saturday.
