We once waited over 30 minutes for a couple, when eventually traced it was discovered that they had forgotten that they had travelled down on Intercruise and were on their way home by Eavesway. Not sure how they managed it but presumably they convinced the driver that they should have been on his list.

Many years since I’ve heard “trackless” when I was young I thought that it was just a bus only many years later did I realise why they had that name! Brought back a lot of memories.

I have just finished reading his “At the Captain’s Table” I now know where he got his inspiration from, there are some quite funny characters on board, including a guest speaker.

My daughter still has problems with her shoulder after last year’s flu jab, she thinks that a nerve has been damaged. Apparently this can take a few months to recover from but it has been over 12 months now, she has an appointment with the GP but is not very hopeful.

I agree with the above comments. We have done this journey from Newcastle and although the coaches have been good the journey is long and the return journey is always a nightmare. We have always encountered delays in picking up passengers from another terminal as despite being assured that they will be ready to board this was never the case. Although we are not cruising at present when we return we will go by train the day before and send our luggage ahead using a courier service - is this an option for you?
