Thank you so much for sharing the dailies... :D

Right at the end of the pier is Island Village.
http://www.jamaicatravelandculture.com/destinations/st_ann/ocho_rios/island-village.htm
Do you know if this is at the end of the gates from the main entrance to the pier? We will be on the NCL Spirit in April and would like to venture on our own for shopping and a beach. This looks perfect. Do you know if there is a Harley Davidson store nearby? Thank you .

It doesn't show a date because Spirit rolled out the new menus and a la carte this week (1/9).
Thank you. Do you know if the menus are the same ones that are on the Escape? I did see those menus and well guess I am hoping.

Barnacle Boy reported that the Spirit will be getting them shortly (he had a date, I don't remember) but it was in the next week or two.
If you log into your NCL and try to do a reservation at one of the new ala carte places, it will possibly tell you what the date is for the cutoff.
Thank you. I did just check and all it shows is the a la carte but no date. That is ok though because at least I know it will be on our cruise. We are not cruising until April so plenty of time. Just hope it is the menu I have seen. :D

Thank you everyone who is contributing all this wonderful information. It really is a big help to me and I am sure others who will be going on the Spirit soon.
Anyone know when or if the new menus will be on the Spirit. I did read some of the menus so I am kind of hoping especially at Cagney's. They have gone back to some of the original and yummy items.

Does anyone know who will be on the Spirit come mid April? I know things change or their vacations happen but if anyone has any info for the Spirit that would be great. Especially looking to see who will be concierge and what butlers will be on board. Thanx in advance.

This was on the new menu on the Escape TA. I would think the fleet will all eventually have this on the menu. We had UDP so I don't remember the a la carte price of this.
We have the UDP for our upcoming cruise. Hope the new menu makes it to the Spirit in April for our cruise. Looks like they brought back a lot of the food items from years past. I am quite happy. Crab cakes, oyster rockefeller (sp), lobster bisque. I can probably name a few more. Getting real excited. :D

Now that looks delicious! Is this on the new menu? Do you know if it will be going fleet wide?

Thank you so much for taking the time to do your review. It helps pass the time waiting for my turn.:D

Hoping to hear some more positive reviews from those coming back. What did you think? How is the crew? The food? Also looking for pictures if anyone has them. Updated ones. It really does help the time pass.
Thank you all for all your opinions and thoughts. I so appreciate it..

Thank you for taking the time to share. I am glad you enjoyed yourself. We will be on her in a few months and can't wait. Enjoying reading the reviews now that she is back to PC.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review. Love reading when people come back from their cruise as it makes it so much easier to pass the time waiting for mine. :D

Waiting to disembark...loved it...will do a review later.
Glad to hear you loved it. Can't wait to read your review.

Leaving soon. Initial thoughts - the ship is in very good condition for its age. Florentina is the Concierge. Her two boys and husband were here today with her - not sure if they were just on for the day or staying. They are very well behaved young boys.
Bars are busy - food at buffet looked pretty good. Lunch at Cagneys was a bit slow - and bar service at Cagneys was super slow - bar didn't open until 12:30, restaurant opened as soon as you got on but didn't start serving until noon. Drinks finally came at 12:50 after ordering at 12:15. Embarkation began at 11:20.
They are using Term 1 this year which is about 1 year old - very orderly, clean, nice terminal.
Have a great cruise. Can't wait to hear your opinion when you get back.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give your review of the Spirit. I have 4 months to wait and I really enjoy reading positive reviews. It helps pass the time waiting for my turn. I do prefer the smaller ships and am looking forward to being on the Spirit. My hope is to have a similar experience as we have had many times on the Sun. Smaller more intimate.
Thank you again.

I know it is only the second week cruising out of PC but for those just getting back what are your thoughts? I have 4 months to go and I really appreciate all the info I can get on the ship. Thank you!

Not sure if you have seen these, we will be in this suite in 2 weeks, not sure how old the pics are but gives an idea, wish I knew who the butler was, I heard Florentina is the concierge.
I had not seen these. Thank you. I do believe this is my room. :D please be sure to take care of it for me. lol
We still have a few months so keep the info coming.

Haven't seen too many reports from the Spirit - we are going in less than two weeks. We don't have any of the plans but if you have any other questions, let us know. We can give you an overall idea about lines and waits.
Any info would be appreciated. If there is a way to find out who the concierge & butlers will be that would be great. We do not go until April and it is probably a bit early to find that out now but...if you can thanx!
If anyone has any pictures of the fwd corner suite I would love to see pictures as well. I know I am asking alot but it sure helps the time pass when I can spend time reading all this info until my time is here.
Again much thanx...

Would love to hear your thoughts on the ship. I know it was the first cruise again from Port Canaveral so was wondering how it went. How was the ship? The crew? How did it work out for those with the UDP vs SDP? I have the UDP was there anything you could not get? Any new reviews? Yes I want it all!!! Anything would be great to know if the ship was enjoyable.
Thank you in advance,

I debated the same question with myself. lol I prefer the aft and DH prefer fwd. Of course he won! We are also going on the Spirit (not soon enough). I had read many times about the vibration aft. We have cruised on the Sun aft several times and the the view is beautiful. Watching the wake words can not describe. Yes some vibration but for me not enough to steer me away. I have not yet been on the Spirit and I am guessing it should be similar. Please come back and let us know what you thought of the aft and if the noise & vibration were too bothersome for you. We have cruised now fwd, aft & midship depending on the ship we are cruising. Yes, more motion fwd & aft vs mid it is just the view from either. If you like seeing where you are going or where you just came from either makes sense. Whichever you decide have a wonderful cruise!

We have been on the Dawn several times and do not remember ever seeing a magnifying mirror.
Sorry, I stand corrected. I guess my memory isn't what it used to be. :o
I really didn't remember ever having a magnifying mirror. I guess I need to pay more attention!

I highly recommend Executive VIP Limo. We have used his services many times over the past few years. Very reliable.
New a la carte menus are apparently slightly different from Escape
in Norwegian Cruise Line

Please do if you can. I know I would really appreciate it as I am sure others will as well.
Thank you!
