  1. Book asap. I suggest calling Carnival and speaking to a PVP. They can see cabins you may not be able to see. I’m not sure why you don’t think you should book the early saver but that is the best rate possible so yes book that as it goes away 6 months prior to cruising. If you are flexible on room type and location you could wait another month or so to book but if you want something specific, book now.

  2. It looks like you're going to take a 4 day Bermuda cruise leaving on a Thursday. Are you planning to drive down the night night before or the morning of the cruise? Parking at the pier would be $160 for 4 days. Probably not cost effective to do alternative parking/hotel arrangements.

Do you have the cars only directions for getting through NYC?

We are driving that morning. We are going to leave around 5or 6 in the morning and it’s about a 4hr drive. We’re going with another coupleso the parking cost is split in half for us.

I’m not sure what cars only directions means?

  3. 1) How do I link my cabin along with my cousin's so that we can dine together? We both have your time dining. Is there anyway to do it online or do I need to call?

    2) How do I make a specialty dining reservation? Again can you do it online or do I need to call? My cruise is not until Sept. 2018 so I may be too early in general.

    TY!

  4. Or is it Camp Carnival? IDK.

Anyway I am looking for any and all information regarding the camp for kids on board! The good and the bad. Perhaps info you can't really get straight from Carnival's website or things you've learned as you've used the services.

I am looking to book a cruise and bring my son for the first time who will be 3 and I know very little about the camp. I have read all there is to read on Carnival's website. TY!

  5. You will need to provide or purchase a lanyard.

You can buy CruiseCash in your Carnival online account. Log in to your booking on carnival.com, go to The FunShops, and select CruiseCa$h. You can buy it in $25 increments. It will be noted with Carnival and available to you as soon as you check in. I'm not sure with Carnival, but on some lines you are limited to $1000.

Yup exactly what they said. Last cruise I had a $400 credit and cruise cash. I didn't want to put too much on there because if you don't spend it you don' t get it back.

"Cruise Cash provides an immediate credit to a guest's Sail & Sign account. This credit is good for any charge made to their account including taxes and gratuity charges. Cruise Cash is valid for a single voyage and cannot be transferred to future bookings. Cruise Cash is non-refundable and any unused credits will be forfeited.

*Cruise Cash purchases limited to $500 per cabin."

  6. If you look at the link I posted above, you will see a replacement menu for elegant night on 5 nights or less cruises. Look for this on the link I originally posted:

Replacement menu on Elegant Night for Short (5 nights or less) Cruises

I'm not sure how current it is, but the information for the longer cruises was fairly accurate for a cruise I just took. The only other thing you could do is go to your exact ship on cruise critic and look for menus posted by previous guests or google the menu for the itinerary you are sailing. The menus are based on the itinerary according to several posts I have read.

The ribs are what I was looking for! So, it looks like they may be on elegant night. I want to go to JiJi Kitchen but I don't want to miss the ribs.

  7. Just checked these out on the Carnival site, and look interesting. Never stayed in one but think I would based on the fact they appear to have a square room design and also have a couch. Doesn't appear to be as cramped as regular interior rooms and the couch is definitely a plus. Thanks for the FYI about these, might just book one since the Vista prices seem to be running so much higher right now.

I love the couch in the room! I wonder why they say max 2 guests with a couch in the room.

  8. Has anyone stayed in any of these 5 cabins I have circled? I was looking at the Vista's deck plan and I only found them on deck 8. Please correct me if they are elsewhere as well. I'm wondering how you liked them and trying to find out if they are any different from other interiors. They look like they might be a bit bigger?
