  1. I am looking for "processing " correct, pending basically means nothing at this point
  2. It says pending. Thanks. Does that mean good?
  3. Someone remind me on the upgrade page, where do l look for the Pending Status?
  4. Thanks everyone. I just wanted to make sure their were not discounts that I was missing. I agree that drinks basically pay for themselves, but the airfare is the kicker. Especially if you get it when the fares are low on the NCL website add page. When we got the cruise airfare for my kids in Vermont was priced on the website as $348 (BOGO) and the cheapest I could find was $980 per person. That's a savings of over $1600 just for that perk alone. Add drinks and specialty, that's another $700. The price difference was $500 for sail away vs free at sea. I feel better.
  5. Do they have Cuban cigars on board in the duty free shops?
  6. I read this as only if "local jurisdiction " applies.
  7. If this is true, yeah for my 8/7 cruise. Anyone want to buy a eMed test? Haha, got 6 of them.
  8. Trying to research the pricing. If you purchase the sail away price, does NCL send you deals for the drink package and Specialty dining? I see the standard for the drink package is $99 per day per person (and will add the gratuity) and the Specialty average out say $100 -200 per person per dinner. Trying to put together the best deal for us. This will be on the Breakaway 7 night cruise.
  9. Just got our flights for cruise on Aug 7th. We are going out the day before, Anyone ever change to an earlier flight that day and if so, did you go through the airline or NCL?
  10. Yes, they are included up to the $15 per drink
  11. Thank you. That is how we read it as well. We are getting a PCR test as well prior to the 2 day proctored test.
  12. Thanks for explaining the letter. If my daughter only took the home test and never took a PCR test at the doctor's does that count?
  13. Yes. I see that but it doesn't say what is needed in this doctor letter and when do you take this PCR test?
  14. One of our passengers is a US citizen, all vaccinations, and has had positive test with Covid at the end of May. We have an August cruise, so we need a doctor note now plus a PCR test? When do we do this test.
  15. No to signing it beforehand and they can't pre-sign. You go to the main customer service desk when you board.
  16. Does this doctor note need to specifically say something?
  17. I am as not aware of this rule. If one of our people in our group had Covid in the end of May and our cruise is in August, they have to get a DR notice? How does NCL know about the positive result?

  19. Her friend won't be able since you are not her legal guardian. You can sign the waiver for her on the boat, but not her friend.
  20. I have seen many cups sizes on a cruise
  21. Obama signed a law in 2016 that allows you to bring in a certain amount $100 declared, so no longer the fine. You can get Cuban rum as well. We previously would just take the bands off prior to getting on the boat and stated they were Dominican cigars. Easy way to get buy that. Fakes are easy if the don't have a hologram on the box they are fake. Also, most if all Cuban cigar bands have a raised embossed cigar band. Lastly, is they come in a 5 pack for $20-50 they are fake. Cuban don't sell in 5 packs. yes, I can go to the ports tab on here, just thought I would ask here. I also would smoke in the port with a local beer or drink prior to getting on the boat.
  22. Ok. Disappointed that our Breakaway cruise in August only has USVI port (St Thomas) and a US territory (San Juan). Was hoping to go to a port where I could indulge in a Cuban (yes I know how to pick out a fake). For San Juan or St Thomas, any suggestions on a hand rolled cigar from a local shop?
  23. Bids for a 8/3 cruise accepted more than 30 days out???? That does seem the norm
  24. Like this answer. Yes this was FCC that we received because our cruise fare paid went down significantly so as a Good Will the gave us FCC. I paid for all Six cruises.
  25. We have 6 different FCC at 3 different amounts ranging from $500 to $1100. We have one year by 8/13/2023 to use. Can we transfer this to just one or two family or does each individual have to book a cruise?
