  1. On our recent Odyssey cruise my husband and brother in law had no issue ordering more than one entree and they were brought out at the same time. Multiple apps, desserts never a problem.
  2. Exactly this. And they are just looking at a screen and have no reason to question it.
  3. Someone posted this on another thread. Good lesson - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  4. Wait until November and the Black Friday sale. Last year I saw it for $50-$60 p/p. The sale generally starts a week or two before Thanksgiving and you can get great deals on internet, excursions, specialty dining, etc.
  5. We have been on a dozen RCL cruises and have brought a 12 pack of water and one or two 6 packs of Diet Pepsi with us every single time, in a checked bag with a luggage tag and every single time they are delivered to our stateroom without incident.
  6. As I mentioned in a previous post we were just on Odyssey and there was no limit to the number of entrees one could order with the exception of lobster tail.
  7. A lot of people are so used to the giant portions here in the US they have no idea what an actual serving size looks like.
  8. Everyone at the table is entitled to one lobster tail. What you choose to do with it is up to you 😉
  9. No issue with ordering two or three entrees on Odyssey a couple of weeks ago. Only issue is with lobster tail. One per customer and those in our group who aren’t fans of lobster gave ours to those in our group who enjoy it so they ended up with two. 😊
  10. We sailed on Odyssey on 1/28 for eight nights as a group of seven. None of us had any issue ordering more than one appetizer, dessert or even entree (DH and BIL ordered two entrees on multiple nights). Only thing you can no longer order more than one of is the lobster tail, but two of our group doesn’t eat seafood so they each got two anyway 😎.
  11. We were on the Jan 28th sailing on Odyssey and MDR was using the new menus. We enjoyed most of them except we skipped British night and Mediterranean night and opted for WJ instead.
  12. Downtown Seattle is about a half hour ride from the airport. We took a taxi and I think it was around $40 + tip. We stayed at the Hyatt Olive 8 for two nights pre-cruise and one night post. An Uber to the cruise terminal was around $15-$20. There are two Hyatt’s right across the street from one another. Both are great and perfect location for exploring, walking distance to the fish market, original Starbucks and other tourist attractions. There is a monorail station nearby that will take you to the space needle, glass museum etc.
  13. You can bring your own bottled water. We bring a case of water on every cruise. I think I read somewhere that you have to carry it on, but we never have. We put in in a suitcase with a luggage tag and it’s delivered to our stateroom.
  14. Do not miss Aqua80!!! I repeat, do NOT miss Aqua80! Best show we’ve seen on a cruise ship! So fun, great music, high energy… 😎
  15. Thanks. So it’s not gone all together… If anyone has been on Odyssey recently and can let me know I would appreciate it!
  16. We were on Ovation in June 2022 and there were several roller skating sessions offered in the Seaplex. We will be sailing on Odyssey next weekend and I don’t see any roller skating offered, only bumper cars. Anyone know if RCI took away roller skating on all Quantum class or is it just not offered on Odyssey?
  17. Thank you! I’m hoping to get more info from them closer to our arrival but in case I don’t, at least I’ll know where to look! 😀
  18. Following, as we are on Odyssey Jan 28 and also wondering about the new menus.
  19. This is our experience as well. We’ve taken several casino comped cruises and always get credit for the points.
  20. We will be in Curaçao on the Odyssey of the Seas on Feb 2, 2023. We reserved a car through Advance Car Rental and are planning to tour the island on our own. At the top of our list is to snorkel with the sea turtles at Playa Piskado. We have our own snorkel gear, but I am wondering if we need to find a guide or boat to take us to where the turtles are, or will we be able to get to them right from the beach? Thank you in advance!
  21. We will be in Aruba on the Odyssey of the Seas on Feb 1, 2023. We have reserved two UTV’s from Jean’s Rentals. Has anyone rented from them before and do you know if they will deliver the UTV’s to us outside the cruise port or do we have to take a taxi to their location to pick them up? I asked the vendor directly on two separate emails but they did not respond…
  22. We were on that same cruise and we got the points.
  23. We brought one in our checked baggage on our last cruise over New Years and had no issue.
