  1. Maine Lobster did not disappoint. I could eat several of them with ease so I added an order of tortellini. Very much enjoyed it.
  2. It did! Started out a little dreary but gradually shaped up to be a nice day. It was touch and go there for a minute lol 😆
  3. MDR for the first time tonight. Made 8:15 reservations in the app earlier. Lobster night and formal night.
  4. These pics are cruising back to the ship. It was a decent time back maybe 30-45 minutes cruising. Rum punches were flowing and music was blasting Joan Jett, AC ⚡️ DC and all the great tunes you’d expect. People danced (who were not me). Great time and spectacular views. Water was pretty rough on the way back but they didn’t put out barf bags on the rails or close the top deck 😜😜😜 Water Taxi
  5. Last stop is the Pitons. We anchored right up close to the beach. Swam in the shadow of the pitons. Water was perfect. Shoreline a bit rocky in the shallow water.
  6. How’s that for a coincidence! Awesome. That’s got to be quite a view from a helicopter flying into St Lucia. The small airport is right on the other side of the inlet from where we docked. The guide pointed it out.
  7. Cruising to the Pitons… Video: IMG_2192.mov We had the fishing poles out. No luck. I asked how often they caught something & he said every 6 months. 😳 We did have something on twice but they fought their way off the line.
  8. Snorkeling stop. I forget the name of the little cove. Beer vendor among other things. Quite a character. Also note the Santa hat. Nice touch! Beers were 3 for $10.
  9. I saw that helicopter if it was as we were backing off the dock. Around 4:15 ish our time.
  10. After Rodney Bay we headed back past our ship the other direction. We cruised to through Marigot Bay next. Some nice boats in there as well. Beautiful place! After Marigot we stopped for the first time. This was the snorkeling stop. We aren’t into that but others were commenting the snorkeling wasn’t that great. This is were the boat vendors appear. 🍻
  11. Started out overcast and rainy. First we headed up the coast to cruise through Rodney Bay. The guides would get on the speaker and point out certain spots. Some cool boats sitting in there too.
  12. Back from the West Coast Catamaran tour. Had a blast! Beautiful scenery and water here in St. Lucia. I love that rugged look on a coastline. I’ll throw some pics on here once I get a bevy to sit and go through what I got. Started out by getting rained on waiting to board the catamaran. It’s literally right off the ship. No bus ride. That’s nice, I was expecting to take a bus for some reason. It rained on and off but only for short bursts then it would clear up. Water was a pretty choppy today. Felt a bit like a roller coaster ride at times. Here she is. Double Decker. Much bigger than the one in Barbados. I was surprised how many people were on just 1 catamaran. Others in line were expecting 2 catamarans but we all fit. I think it would be better with 10 or so less people but that wouldn’t maximize the profit would it? We paid $248 for the 2 of us. It’s a 6 hour tour with a scenic ride up the coastline and 2 stops. 1st stop was a bay for snorkeling. 2nd stop was near the beach at the base of the Pitons. There was lunch served with soft drinks and rum punch (only after the swim spots). Lunch was fish (blue Marlin), chicken, rice/bean salad, salad and a pasta salad. It was all good. Beers could be bought from vendors who went around in smaller boats and kayaks. They had trinkets, beers, coconuts (with or without rum) and other “paraphernalia ” for sale if you know what i’m sayin 😉
  13. Yes it’s a Royal excursion. I can tell you there were plenty of catamarans out on the water today. Not sure which of them were private.
  14. Waiting in line for the bus rocking out to House of Pain at 7:30 am. 😳😳
  15. In the distance another ship is approaching as well. Maybe SilverSea Silver Dawn.
