We are shoving off now and heading toward Halifax. I liked Portland. Wish we had some more time here to explore a bit more but still a good stop. So many breweries here and so little time lol 😂 Added to my sticker collection:

MDR breakfast. French Toast with mixed berries. Scrambled eggs & hash brown. French Toast was awesome. Far better than the burrito.

side note - pretty sure we have balcony smokers next to us. Hasn’t been too noticeable while at sea. Cigarettes not the wacky tobaccy. Haven’t been at the room too much to be bothered.

High rent district of the dock… BOAT - Bust Out Another Thousand 💸💸

Last night consisted of some casino time. I’m doesn’t take long for us to lose so not a ton of time taken up there 😂 So far just some slots and video blackjack for me. DW likes roulette and i’ll join in everyone now and then. My casino luck is not good so I limit my time there. I’ll stick to fantasy sports and occasional sports betting. Pub guitar singer - listened to the first set before the 70’s party in promenade. Hung out for that for a bit and headed to the room for some late dinner room service. Royal burger was good & Philly Cheesesteak was so-so. Basically some steak on a hot dog bun with peppers and cheese. Of course some chocolate chip cookies. Took about 40 minutes but was on time. Caught a few minutes of the latin band in Boleros & they are really good. Popular too. Seems packed every time I’m going by. Im sure you have noticed by now we are not theatre show people. Sometimes we will go to the comedian but that’s about it.

Good Morning 😃 We are pulling into Portland Maine slowly but surely pushing the port side alongside the dock. We don’t have any specific plans here. The app only had 4 or so excursions available to purchase that we weren’t enamored with so we opted to wing it.

I can say it doesn’t feel empty at all on this ship and I was on several covid cruises where it was definitely limited amount of passengers.

No actually I’m glad you asked bc i was going to comment that this is by far the best wi fi i have experienced in recent years. Wi-fi is great on the balcony which has NEVER happened. In fact it’s non existent on the balcony every other time. Only time it’s been slow or locked up has been deep inside the pub sitting at the bar - it’s kinda like a little cave in there. Have not found any other bad spots yet.
