  1. Thanks - I would not have guessed wind turbine parts. I was thinking it was something to do with drilling.
  2. Morning was a bit gloomy with high seas & white caps galore but the day looks to be shaping up nicely. Sun is coming out now and the balcony is delightful. Just warm enough in shorts and t shirt, nice breeze not too hot/not too cold. Seas are a bit rocky but nothing crazy.
  3. Definitely enjoyed Halifax. Beautiful especially the coastline and waterfront area. Next time I’d like to see the Maritime Museum and spend some time checking out the restaurants along the water. Now I know where to find that darn Starbucks that was hiding from us!! Our bus guide told us Tim Hortons was owned by Burger King.
  4. I would 100% do that over the bus tour. The guide said there was an issue with a bridge when you turn right out of Peggy’s Cove so we did go left past Hacketts Cove and The Finer Diner.
  5. That’s surprising to me. Atlantic Canada seems super generic. Probably would have still bought it though lol
  6. Good morning from the Atlantic. Last day already ☹️ We have a sea day and are scheduled back to Bayonne tomorrow morning.
  7. I used my $6 free play last night in the casino but no luck. It lasted about 27 seconds. close to my record 🤣
  8. We went to the headliner show last night. It was comedian Scott Wyler. We thought he was funny. Good show overall.
  9. Addition to the coffee mug collection from Maine. Surprisingly, We did not see a starbucks to add Nova Scotia to the collection.
  10. 3 PM was the only time left for the Peggy’s Cove and Titanic Cemetery tour. We loved Peggy’s Cove. Titanic Cemetery was interesting to see. The bus ride was about 45-60 minutes each way to Peggy’s Cove. i have to say the bus ride was absolutely miserable. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be working on the bus but then after about 25 minutes it finally started to kick in. The guide was horrendous. He was a mono-tone voice making terrible corny jokes nonstop. The stream of thought was sooo hard to follow as he talked. Often times he would start talking and lose his own train of thought and never make it to the point of the story. I truly can’t explain how bad this bus ride was. I honestly considered calling for a cab at Peggy’s Cove back to the ship just to avoid the bus ride back and I should have done that in hindsight. Moral of the story is to take a private taxi or other mode of transportation to Peggys Cove rather than the bus tour. That’s my personal opinion.
