Just tried to book five for dinner in cagneys. It only allowed option of 1,2,4 or 6....dont want to prepay for six when there is only five....what do i do?

Yes... Jenny is back on the gem..she is the best.... Really knows her job and so friendly and approachable....loves to see her guests enjoying themselves....

Crab legs used to be available as an upcharge in cagneys but dont recall seeing them in january

Haven roof definitely opens innice weather... I thought i saw something inthe past about acces to sun deck but required assistance from crew to operate lift...put a call into the pre cruise concierge to find out.. I saw the HC penthouse on breakaway from the hallway, it looked huge. There was plenty of room even with the scooter parked in there... Enjoy your trip

Was in haven on breakaway and no. Never saw anyone sit in them. And yes, a. Bigger pool would have been a better idea...

Will miss st maarten. Our last cruise on the gem we tendered in to other end of beach as docks were crowded with about six other cruise ships. We tendered in away from the crowds and spent a lovely day on the beach. Didnt have to fight crowds or use water taxi. Our only experience with tortola was a half day visit, most stores were closed and only a few shack type stores open--didnt care for this.always liked beach day at gsc, have not been there since renovations --any info on clamshells or cabanas? Prices, benefits? Can they be booked prior to boarding ship?

Bought some laminating sheets in staples, placed luggage tags in them, folded them over to seal and simply stapled to luggage handle, no chance of tags ripping. Yes only suites get nice tags mailed to you...

Definitely a bed suspended from ceiling in 2 br family suite on breakaway...was in 16122 also can fit two on lower bed. Loved the location in hallway across from haven courtyard...

Even without using the teen club, the breakaway has so many things to keep him occupied... Rope course, the plank, minigolf, bowling, bAsketball, waterslides playing pool in o'sheehans and darts Love the gem but i think breakaway has a bit more for teens..

Traveled on breakaway in haven suite accompanied by non suite family members. Was allowed to invite them for dinner in haven restaurant " anfew times" for fee of $20 or 25 per person. Otherwise we met them after breakfast and dined in mdr or specialty rest the rest of time.not a problem..

I never saw pails n shovels available but i usually pack a inflatable tube or float from the dollar store in my bag for use at private island and pass it on to someone else when i go back to the ship....

Haven access is for all staying in a haven suite, including children...a great place to relax for all. Everyone, regardless of age, should always be courteous to fellow passengers...i have seen some adults that can be much more annoying than kids just having fun😊

I understand the breakaway is very large And concierge has a great deAl of people to attend to but she was not very friendly or accomodating. Inthe past florentina and carlos were very approachable, pleasant and always tried to please. Not so with ruth. So many of our requests were met with negative responses....:(

Ncl more laid back. Need not dress formal. Freestyle dining. No set hours. Soft serve ice cream availabke most tines in great outdoors. Also scooped ice cream at buffet in dish or cone with toppings. Just came back on gem with my 21 yr old daughter. Great time. She has been cruising ncl many times in ten yrs and loves it.

Haven on breakaway had nice clean bathrooms by the pool and also a shower...

Sinan was the first CD that actually was memorable....love him and just cruised with Dan Dan on the Gem... Also very funny and quick witted as well as a great singer. Sinan is all over the ship and really makes the cruise a fun adventure!
