We were on the Jewel in Jan/Feb (16-night Panama Canal). I'm virtually certain he was the Restaurant Mgr. (My docs are buried right now or I'd pull them out to check.) Really nice guy.

Thank you...very nice man, cruising on the Jewel soon, it would be nice to see him again. He was so nice to my family...

Does anyone know if Marek Bus is still with NCL? He was either food and beverage director or restaurant manager. Had been on the Gem a few years back and left to go to another ship.

We have sailed in 2 bedroom haven suite twice. My daughter and her husband had the smaller bedroom and slept comfortably together on the bottom bed. Also have the upper bunk if needed. Suite was perfect for the 4 of us and one cruise we had a 5 th person stay on pullout couch in living room. You will love the whole Haven experience!

I can't remember, do all suites get luggage tags mailed to them or only Haven suites? We are staying in a forward penthouse suite....

If you want half way through the cruise you can swap rooms, just let the cabin steward know. Or, one couple pays less if in smaller room. Only the first two people on the reservation get the drink package...

Return of the Spinnaker lounge for shows like newlywed game, bingo, dance lessons, it's a great more intimate place to gather and eliminate the crowds and noise in the atrium. Also the floor to ceiling Windows provide great views when the weather is cold or rainy. The Great Outdoors of the Jewel class ships is another favorite of mine....

Thinking of cruising Alaska next summer...would like to do cruise and train ride to Denali Park....which ship and itinerary would be best...board in Anchorage, Seattle or Vancouver? Any and all tips would be appreciated...thanks😃

We were on the same cruise and didn't see any rowdy drinks, yes there were a few people getting a bit loud at the bar but they were laughing and just enjoying themselves, from what I saw... And very easy for someone to fall down those stairs by le bistro....the blue lit up curved staircase can be difficult to navigate on a rocky ship....

Also feel that the Bulgari lotion had too strong a scent! The white body puff was hanging in the shower but wasn't wrapped---so there it stayed...ewww

Gem mini suite couch definitely good for 2 adults and was surprisingly very comfortable.... In a balcony room, fold out bed does block access to balcony. Cabin steward tried just making bed and leaving it open but we asked him to fold it up each day- no

Agree...definitely worth it....bathtub is high to step out of but that's about only downside...stayed in 11522 twice...no noise...loved it😎
