We did white pass from ship cos was unsure if the train would be full from cruise so we might not have got on.
lumberjack show was just walk over from the ship. Ship price was same as do on your own $39.95 I think
we did mendenhall vis the ship excursion and it was a bit more expensive but not exorbitant.
we loved them all!
We were waitlisted on two cruises, same itinerary. Circumnavigation of Aus. We scored a balcony on the first one, and then we saw drop in price so our PVP applied that too. Once the first cruise was complete led, we cancelled the waitlist on the second one.
we actually received an email from princess to tell us our waitlist was accepted
Thats interesting. Will keep my eye on it for next year. I know it is leaving Capetown tomorrow cos I have friends on it.
I'll lock into Cunard site and keep a closer eye on it. And after ozkiwijj report im very keen to try Cunard
I don’t mean some people don’t pick that I have an accent from somewhere but generally unless they know England never ask if I’m from there. My sister has a very broad pommy accent after living most her married life In Birmingham
I am told I don’t have too much of an accent still (I’ve been here 52 years) but then maybe Julie can weigh into the topic as we’ve spoken a few times lol
We did 14 day return last May. Our first Alaska trip (from Australia). Layers! Was the advice from everyone and it was the best advice. Started the day off with tshirt under sweatshirt with rain jacket type on top, and just shed then as the day went on as necessary. Carried a very lightweight backpack that held any tops we took off.
just wore regular runners/sneakers rather than buy waterproof ones. We only ever travel with one medium suitcase each and everything fitted fine.
The grilled octopus tentacle totally ruined this delightful report 🤣🤣🤣 I have no idea what it tastes like, my stomach turns ate the thought of it! But love everything else 😁😁😁
We definitely had padded seats. They were quite comfortable. And each cabin had a small wood heater which made it quite comfortable in may. Full snow made the journey spectacular!
