So, apparently they're having propeller problems, ran into a storm, Coast Guard held them up at the mouth of the river, and won't be arriving in New Orleans until 12:30. Boarding pushed back 5 hours and $20 onboard credit to cover missed lunch.

Cruisers got a notice (email/text) that embarkation will be late and don't go to the port until they hear something by 8am tomorrow. Anybody know what's going on?

They were outside walking around last time we went. Interesting shots from on the ship: on the bow, with the glacier in the background or in the pool (!) also with glacier background! Tahku, The Whale Project in Juneau. Most people seeing this think it's really a whale rather than a statue. If you frame it correctly, it will look like you're standing in front of a breeching whale. My roll calls have been very empty lately too. I think people are chatting on that other "face" place rather than here because while the roll calls here had about 4-7 people, there were 100s (200-450) people who had joined that other group.

These types of posts are unfair. My children are grown, so this does not affect me, but often kids choose this type of vacation where there are kids their age and planned fun activities. If they chose a cruise with an advertised all day kids club and it's not available, it's not the vacation they planned on.

You need to create an account on carnival.com and you will see your room there. You will need to register there too, and let them know you've have your vaccines. The hub app doesn't have much function before you get on, although you can use it to get to carnival.com. I can't remember if you can see your room assignments.
