The WOW sale is great for new bookings and even more so for those sailing kids. But it didn't do anything good for me today when I called. My cruise has gone up and up. :(

Great review! :)

We usually spend less than $100. 😊

I tried to do a price check on our 3/28/19 sailing out of Baltimore and the option to book a refundable deposit wasn't there. Did something change in the last few days or is it just an IT issue?
I'm not seeing it either.

We were in 6348 last cabin on the back of the starboard hump on Liberty several years ago and loved it. Great location. I noticed less wind which was great for reading. We'll be in that same cabin this coming December. :D

Although I had dreamed about going on a cruise for many years, I didn't go on my first one until I was 45 years old. It was on the Norwegian Sea. She was 42,000 tons. I fell in love with cruising on that ship.

Not generally for travel, but for cruising in particular - what's the cruise-ship specific thing you would not want to forget to pack? A lanyard for your seapass? Magnets for the walls? Share here to help me sail away on Sunday :D
My travel fan. :D

We do all of those things. Especially the medicine thing. There have been stories over the years of people stranded on ships (for whatever reason) and running out of their meds. We always bring full new prescriptions with us. Always be prepared for the unexpected!

We've done that a couple of times and really enjoyed the half-empty ship. :D

Bears repeating:D:D
And repeating!

That's what I was thinking. If that's the case we will probably stick with a balcony cabin, not worth the extra cost
When I booked 1854, the price was $200 less than a regular balcony room. :)

Just off the Freedom (AMAZING week/cruise) and on the last day we were in line at GS to settle our cash account. They had a very friendly crew member going through the line to help speed it up and get people out of line quicker. The people in front of us told her they wanted grats. removed, she made a quick call on her portable phone, gave whoever answered the stateroom # and said remove grats. for all passengers. That was it, no signing anything, asking if there was a problem, nothing.
Of course it's nice that you can have an issue handled with ease, but it just kind of stuck with me all weekend that people can remove them so easily. It also seemed to be a very common need in the line we were in, as multiple were up there just for that purpose. Here's to hoping they had other plans with cash or something?
I wouldn't worry about it. We always pay ours in cash so that might have been me you saw in that line. LOL ;p

And, because it's an HC cabin, it's much larger than a standard inside. No worries....you'll be fine.
That's true! :)

Yes, they changed that first.
They found that people were booking as many as 10 cruises, holding out GS and above, to end up cancelling all but 1 or maybe cancelling all.
So they figured it would free up availability for people who actually plan to try to take the cruise.
Seriously? Who can afford to do that? Well, I guess some people can but I can't imagine.....:o

Cruising is like dreaming and being fully awake.

Love love love Sabor's!

Since you haven't yet tried Giovanni's, I'd go there. :)

We never buy a drink package. Never worth it for us.

My husband and I are sailing on the 4/22 Liberty OTS, and I just received an email to upgrade to a JS for $500. We currently have a superior balcony mid ship on deck 9 booked.
We've never cruised in a suite before will move to platinum after this cruise.
Is a JS worth the extra $$$?
Thanks,
I don't think so.

So I cruised for the first time in December on Empress. Now I'm hooked! I'm booked on Brilliance for December and the anticipation is driving me nuts! Meanwhile, I'm looking for the cruise after that..... Being from central Florida lots of cruise ports to choose from. Thinking a 7 to 9 day in April to the south Caribbean. Retired Navy, so I'd love to revisit Aruba, Curacao, and get to Belize for a first time. Is there a cruisers anonymous group I could join? 😁😂😄
I feel your pain!! :')
