Just got off the Journey two weeks ago and yes they are still using plastic bottles for water.

We are David and Mary-Jo from Massachusetts and are also on this cruise. My husband was just asking me about laundry for a 35 day cruise. I am disappointed they don't have self-serve. I only wash clothes in cold water and low dryer temp! Well. If clothes shrink I guess bathing suits and cover ups will have to do. It will have nothing to do with the food or wine consumption!😎😎

The first time I submitted I got aam email that i was approved for the bonus and it was applied to both legs of trip. When i added 3rd leg I sent in form and after 2 weeks no reply.i called Azamara and they said they never got form but reviewed cruises and added bonus only to the third leg not other two. Amount of OBC for each leg has to to be spent on that leg. Cannot carry OBC forward.

It also pertains if you cruised on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Not sure if it will work if you have only Royal loyalty . We gave Azamara our loyalty member numbers and became a Discoverer on Azamara. If they don't have your numbers call them and ask for any additional discounts and/or perks you may be entitled to. It is worth the effort. Good luck

We are on the Oct 29 France Intensive. I checked my paperwork and my final payment is June 17. Seems a bit soon to me. The final payment amount and date should be listed on your paperwork you received from your travel agent or Azamara if you booked directly with them. There is also a Roll Call for this cruise that you can read and meet other fellow cruisers. Hope to see you on board Mary-Jo

We will be changing rooms between the 1st and 2nd leg. Do the stewards move your things? We have usually stayed in same cabin. We are in the same room on the 3rd leg. It would be great if cruise line provided transport to and from Civitavecchia and Rome. I'd love to see the Colosseum again the the lower level that they have opened up.

Can you only bring wine or spirits on board on embarkation day to consume or can you bring alcohol and consume them throughout the cruise? I know on RCCL any alcohol brought onboard during cruise goes into holding and is returned to your cabin on the last night of voyage.

You are just to funny. I am thoroughly enjoying your posts and you have reduced my stress level a good bit. I understand about hearding cats...we usually travel with a group of 7 that is why I liked the old way..late dinner seating at a table for 10 to meet new folks! I will look forward to any information you have to share about the Onward. We have never cruised with Azamara but have cruised extensively with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess. We jumped in with both feet booking B2B2B on the Onward this fall. A bit concerned after reading posts of "refurbished" ship. It appears fine for suite quests but for P1 and V1 guests is seems we are 2nd class guests. Not sure if we should cancel or transfer to different ship or different cruise line. It's a lot of money to spend and be faced with broken, chipped furniture, dirty rooms and unfavorable service. This was a delayed 2020 cruise that now is encompassing celebrations for milestone birthdays for us and Anniversary. I am trying my best to be upbeat and think positive that all will be fine but it is difficult,Thank you for any information you can share. In any event have a wonderful cruise and maybe hang pennant flags in your friend's cabin who wanted to sail!
