That is exactly why we always upgrade...and we are not big drinkers; we just like the convenience of not having a bill due at the end of the cruise . In addition, my DH is a coffee snob and won't drink the dining room coffee in the morning...so to the Cafe we go for Americano...

I booked the Divina a while back, with no drink package, and with our Gold status received a 5% discount each on the price of the cruise, plus $50.00 each. I am call to purchase the premium drink package outright. If we do, can we use the $100.00 to offset the price of the package? I was thinking this was the best option, without having to re-price the current price of the cruise. Any thoughts?

Yes. They did. It was called Michael's Club. We were able to use it for about a year after we reached Elite status. Then, a year later, it became a private area for the upper echelon. Now I think it the gathering place for those in suites.

I was informed, as I was installing the MSC for Me app, that the app does not work for the Divina..Anyone know why? It seems to be compatible with most of the other MSC ships....hmmmmm

On the Meraviglia there are a few cabins facing aft that actually have a set of permanent bunk beds that are off-set, along with a sofa and the twin/queen beds. Our cabin was 10261, but the cabin next to us was the same. Very spacey cabin as well. The storage space could have been a bit more, but we used the bunk beds to lay some of our things out. Large balcony as well. There is a youtube video of the cabin next door, I believe cabin 10267, which is exactly the same layout.

I purchased the beverage cards for our last cruise, at home, prior to cruise. I asked the representative at Customer Desk on the ship, what would happen if we did not use them on the cruise. I was told that if we did not use them, balance left on the card would be returned to our credit card. Wondering how long this would take as we are now home. Also, how long does it take for them to release the $400.00 amount that was held on our card prior to cruising.

The room and balcony was wonderful! Oversized, no soot and there was a overhang in case it rained a little. The room could have used a few extra storage areas, tho we used the bunk beds that were there to lay out our clothes, but nice none the less. Room attendants were great as well. We would not hesitate to book the room again in the future. Enjoy your cruise!

Depends on the ship...We were on the Meraviglia in February and had an aft balcony cabin that had xtra sleeping space for 2 in the form of bunk beds. There was a curtain separating the main cabin from the beds. The storage space on most of the regular cabins is limited, but we used the extra space in our cabin for anything that wouldn't fit anywhere else. The cabin was also a bit wider, with a nice balcony.

Can we also use the cards to purchase a bottle of wine at dinner?

After being on the phone pretty much all day on hold, I decided..instead of upgrading our drink package, it was easier to purchase 2 $100.00 Beverage cards that my husband can use when he wants a Jack on the Rocks, since it is not in the signature package..

The parking should be no problem...however, we usually use Park n Cruise, which is just out of the Port...$10.95/day. Easy in and easy out.

We received the email with ours today, but it doesn't show up on the app, even after deleting and re-downloading the app, as prompted. I just printing both out and will take them....

We just booked the Reflection after a 3 year hiatus....have the lower priced bev package...are we able to upgrade to the higher priced bev package once we get on board?

When we purchased our cruise, we also purchased the "Have it all.' But looking at that now, it seems that we are limited to 15 beverages per day per person. But in that 15 beverages, we have to include the specialty coffees and waters, as well as the alcohol drinks. Not that we drink that much, but we may have a bloody Mary, maybe a beer or two during the day, wine with dinner, and a couple of drinks in the evening. My questions is, has anyone been able to upgrade the Signature package to the Elite on board?

I got vaccinated because I was taking care of my elderly mother, but my husband did not...Do I have to present my vax card at boarding? Kind of senseless due to fact that being vaxed is not a requirement any longer...how has boarding been lately?
