I might have missed the answers to these 2 questions:

1. Did you have any issues with laundry?

2. Do you know if anyone had issues bringing drinks on board?  We like flavored sparkling water and want to bring some  on board.

The last 2 times we flew into Miami and cruised out of port everglades.  Once we took an Uber and once Lyft.  Very easy to do.

If parking garage company won’t refund, talk to your credit card company.

My TA said there was a webinar today with VP sales.  VP said Princess is working on the Alaska sailings and will let everyone know once they get it all worked out.

Right now they are dealing with the current cancellations.

Just saw this morning that the US might stop all international travel.  They are deciding what to do.

My TA told me to allow 15 business days for the credit to show up on my CC and allow 8 weeks for the FCC to show up in my account.

What happens to your luggage if you go with the later debarkation?  Do they store it somewhere safe for you?

I just called a number i found on a RCL investor page.  I was asking about stock being combined with military discounts.  She put me on hold for awhile came back and said YES it is combinable as long as booked after Jun 2019.

We are getting ready to buy some stock and see how it goes.  It is now down to $91.12 a share.

We do have Princess stock and have never had problems combining military, FCC etc.  Hope Celebrity does the same.

We just returned from Celebrity Reflection sailing On Monday.  Docked at terminal 25.  They do not have global entry at this time. They did have about 7 TSA officers so it did not take that long at all to get out of the terminal.

We were at the Riu palace last year thru resorts for a day and would not go back.  The staff at check in were rude and told us WiFi not included at all.  I showed them the reservation where it was and they reluctantly gave us the code.  There were no chairs on the beach so sat by the pool.  It was so windy that you had to hold onto everything.  The drink guy would come around and avoid us so we had to go get our drinks.  The only thing that was good was the restaurant where you had lunch.  Great servers and good food.

I had emailed resorts for a day when we were at the resort and they apologized and gave us a $50 credit.

I personally would not go back to this hotel again.  I would use resort for a day but on a different island.

We went exactly a year ago.  It was okay.  It was not packed with people at all when we were there.  It was windy so churned up the water big time.  The booze was typically strong premade  drinks.  We thought the food was quite good.

We signed up for status match with them last year since we are elite in Princess.  Did you do the same?

Do you have to have the app installed to access the internet on the ship or is it just a sign in using your cabin # etc?

A question here from a newbie to Celebrity.  How do you sign on to the internet while on the ship?  On Princess, without the app/medallion, on any device we had to put in cabin number and birthdate.  Can’t remember how the medallion sign in worked since mine did not that cruise.

Do we have to have the app to get onto internet?

We are elite members with Princess but decided it was time to try something else.  We are on the Reflection this week in an Aqua suite.  Cant wait to be on board.  Will have to post after the cruise and let everyone know what i thought too.

Thanks for the info ian441672.  We have gone on over 30 Princess cruises and do like being elite but have decided to take a Celebrity cruise.  We are actually sailing on the Reflection this week for the 10 day Caribbean.  We are not in a suite but in the Aqua class cabin.  Am excited to try something new.

I think the rooms on Princess are bigger but the bathroom was bigger on NCL.  
 

As far as the food we thought the food on the entire NCL Escape was much better.  The MDRs, buffet and specialty restaurants were far superior to Princess.  Our last 2 sailings, Crown and Caribbean, the food in the MDR and buffet was blah..  the specialty dining was average.  In our opinion the food is not what it used to be.

 
The other big thing for us was the staff on NCL:  they were the friendliest people we have met in a long time.  No stressed out staff in the MDR like on Princess ships. Enjoyed that.

The pool area is not great on NCL, so we hung out in the adults area with the grotto instead.  If you are going to hang at the pool all day at sea then Princess is what you want.
 

We saw lots of multi generational families on board and they all looked like they were having a good time.  You have to decide what your in laws would like and what you need from a ship.

The other big difference with NCL is you book your big show times and specialty dinners prior to getting on the ship.  This was an interesting experience for sure.  I waited too late to get everything I wanted but was able to fix it on the ship.  The big thing is you were guaranteed a seat at the big shows so no need to be there 30 minutes prior to get a seat.  Doing everything in advance has its pros and cons but for our Bermuda itinerary it worked.
 

As I said before to each their own.  We are getting ready to do our 43 cruise on our 6th different line.  Want to branch out a bit and we are having fun doing it.  We are sailing on the Emerald next year but want something different now and then.
