I read that they are not available to book yet

Wasn't not comfortable giving password etc for Vanguard account so did what someone suggested and just picked Fidelity...uploaded our Vanguard CCL shares and it just got approved
-
Prob not worth it..the one time we had it ( there was a promotion going on and it was inexpensive) we did drink the coffees, water, etc but if we don't have it we just get the included coffee and bring sodas on etc. It was fun but just cant justify the cost ( and we do drink but maybe one (or two) cocktails and a couple glasses of wine a day)

Hank how many pesos is the bus ( eg from port to malecon) ? We used to do the 1 dollar for two back when exchange rate was better but I’d rather have pesos ready .

Just put data roaming to OFF. You don’t need to out your phone in Airplane mode unless you want to go off-grid completely.
Remember not to accept calls you don’t want in order to avoid roaming charges.
Thats what we do..no airplane mode. I am too paranoid to be that off grid..like if I get a call from the highway patrol telling me one of my sons has driven off a cliff and is in the hospital...ok I KNOW how crazy that is. That being said, turning data roaming off is enough

We always order hot chocolate with our morning room service coffee ( hubby likes "mochas" and too cheap to pay for them). They bring the packets and hot water

I have my account with SoFi and they wanted my username and password too. I just chose Fidelity instead and uploaded my statement. It was approved the next day.
We have Vanguard but I also didnt feel comfy giving out user name and password. I tried this and hopefully worked..I got an answer saying we are eligible and it has been submitted

No need, anyone can order from the kids menu in any of the dining rooms for any reason. They will simply bring a larger portion and the adult price.
What does " the adult price" mean for an adult size portion of the kids menu? Oh so you are saying that if their specials needs adult son wants chicken nuggets , they will give him a large portion and charge him steak house price?

Surely I won't be the only one with their mind blown that after all these cruises (Diamond status) this is the first time the OP will be venturing into the steakhouse....just wow! That said, as mentioned above, I'd like to think a quick conversation with the host prior to dinner and everything will be worked out. Good luck and enjoy!
This wasnt a "wow" to me at all..we are platinum and not he way to diamond but have only been to the steakhouse once and that was because we got a free one. Probably wont be back..not. because it wasn't good, just not a huge steak person ( and cheap ) Oh and for the OP , maybe speak to the special needs dept first and I will bet they can accommodate you

e Cruise the Vineyards program is specifically for the restaurants.
This is not true in our experience. One you get the "vouchers' you can turn them in for a bottle of wine at any bar to take back to your cabin.

Do you really save money by purchasing it this way? I recently saw this pop up as a presale online option a month or two ago (first under in room food and beverage, and now under drinks). We will be in a 15 day cruise, so I was thinking about it.
Obviously the markup on any wine/alcohol is crazy...these are probably 8 dollar bottles of wine retail ..but it does save you money compared to buying buy the glass or by the bottle if you plan to drink enough wine anyway
-
We have gotten this many times and were always able to order a bottle at any bar
to take back to room.

we bought ours onboard ..went up to a bar and they gave us the 5 vouchers to use. I cant remember the exact price but it definitely was one "service" charge

We will be on the same cruise. Looks like thats the Mazatlan day. My bet would be just a special dessert and a flower. And my husband will be off the hook on getting me anything!

Are there any places where you can get a beach massage?
My husband got a beach massage on Stone Island. Fair warning...I have pics of this and lets say she pulled down his swim trunks pretty far lol. He did enjoy it but if I was going to be that exposed I wouldn't want it on a wide open beach

The on the ship plan is just for calls and texts I think. The 10 dollar a day international plan on land includes cellular data to get online.

Some people may not agree but for me the internet..unlimited as opposed to how it used to be per minute and verrryyy slow.

I remember the times where they charged by the minute...and it was super slow so you ended up paying for the pages to load. For me its much more cost effective now

let me say this. If the need ever arises that we actually need to go to our muster stations they had better have those crew members in the hallways like in the beginning of the cruise because I'll never find it on my own. I get lost going around the block.
I agree! We were actually on a cruise a while back (Panorama) where in the middle of the night loud banging on our door with crew members yelling to put on life jackets. We had a hard enough time scrambling around finding the life jackets and putting them on in a half asleep stupor ..theres on way Id remember where my muster station was. It turned out to be a small fire down below us that was resolved quickly , although we weren't really told that until we were in the hallway trying to figure out what to do..

Thanks for the pictures and reviews! Looks like there was a good variety , even with some "misses". I am hoping my two vegan sons will cruise with us so this will help
