Not aware there is a zip line on Explorer of the seas unless it was added during drydock.
-
In Barcelona, you are a good distance out and will require a shuttle bus unless you like a good walk.
Monaco - are you tendering into Monaco or is it Villefranche for Monaco?

Can you tell me who the cruise director is on explorer?
-
Sailing on Explorer of the Seas on 29th June and was wondering if anyone knows who the cruise director will be and how they can be contacted.

Before buying my next camera I wanted to try both but shop only had T6.Still waiting on stock of new T6i but salesman assured me they were both identical apart from the top plate on the T6i. I did notice that the T6 does not have an eye sensor which the T2i has. There is a separate button which you need to press to switch off the LCD screen. Not sure if I would find this annoying. The T6i does have the sensor. The T6 also appears to use a new focus system which is a black grid rather than the focus points which turn red to indicate the active focus point/s.In the shop when using the camera and focusing on dark areas it was at times difficult to be sure the camera had focused on the right area. With the T2i the active point flashed red.

which dock did you use in Palma? The reason I ask is that sometimes the ships will use the container dock which is closer to the cathedral rather than the dock across the bay which involves about a 20 minute transfer by shuttle.

currently have a canon t2i .
Lenses
Canon 18 -135 f3.5 -5.6 is STM
Canon 10 -22 f3.5 -4.5 USM
Canon 70 -200 f4
I have not upgraded the body in the past as the newer cameras were only minor upgrades but this appears to be a major upgrade ie better sensor ,higher pixel count, wi fi ,etc.

Thank you so much for all the helpful info. Will certainly try the Frito Malgueno and Churros when we visit Malaga.
-
Considering upgrading to either T6 or T6i. Reviews seem positive. Anyone purchased one of these new cameras?
-
There are usually two welcome aboard parties, one for first sitting and one for second sitting.

would like to visit Gibralfaro and Alcazaba. I understand bus No 35 goes to the castle. The plan is to visit the castle in the morning and then either walk down to alcazaba or get the bus back to alcazaba if it goes this route.

Can anyone who has been to Malaga tell me how big the port is and if you require a shuttle bus to exit the port or can you walk?

your ship will dock in one of two areas either side of the harbour. It does not matter which as when you leave the ship head towards the cathedral and bear right so that the cathedral and lake are on your left hand side. You will see a lot of bus stops along the main road.Go to the bus stop outside the Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel and get on bus No 29.Bus departs at 12 and 42 minutes past the hour(at least it did last year, maybe check timetable)Journey time approx 15 minutes.Note the bus does not pass the 3 swords in rock monument. You need to get off at Madlaleiren stop which is across the road from an army base.Just ask the driver.Immediately after leaving the stop the bus will turn right away from the monument so make sure you get off at this stop. From the stop walk along main road which bears left and as you round bend the monument is about 300 metres.Walking time from bus stop to monument 5 minutes. On way back walk to bus stop which is across road from the one you got off at.Return times approx 3 and 33 minutes past hour.

P & O Sue
Lisbon port authority has not allocated a quay for any of the three P & O ships scheduled to dock in June yet so I would check the site nearer the departure date.
-
There is more than one docking area so best to check beforehand to see where you are docking.

In previous brochures it was easier to work out pricing, as all cruises were listed with each cabin grade, discounts for third/fourth person, single supplements, etc Coach pricing was also listed rather than a from price. Some t & C's vague, such as tipping. There is no price shown in brochure. ALL other main cruise companies list exact amount of tips per day. Also spent last seven days trying to get an answer re past passenger discount as nothing in brochure re this matter.
-
Update. P & O confirm all past passengers in the same cabin receive past passenger discount of 5% if booking a 2016 cruise before 31st May.
