I stand corrected! Celebrity told us it was because we departed at the first port after a foreign destination. I could have misunderstood- my father had just passed away and I was a little overwhelmed. At any rate, I hope DragonoftheSeas is spared the fine!

Wishing your husband a speedy recovery. And having been assessed a PVSA fine myself last year, it happens when you leave the ship at the first US port after visiting a foreign port of call. Celebrity charged me before we even left the ship. You should be clear. Good luck.

All of this is frightening, and it just stinks that this is your experience. I’m glad the ports are awesome. I have never seen a meal consisting of fries topped with a slice of semi-melted cheese and 3 pieces of very well done toast. And the clippings - I find this doubly disturbing. Not good that the cabin steward missed them, but who the heck doesn’t clean up after themselves?

Thanks for your review! I think it is just wonderful that you are able to travel with your dad and have this time together. I am still snickering at your dad’s comment, “when do they bring the beer?” I like his style.

I live in Cleveland - they definitely missed out! Glad you had a nice stop! If you are a fan of art museums, we have a great one. Next time! We have come a long way from the “Mistake on the Lake.” Except for the Browns - I am sorry that you were so close to the Factory of Sadness (the stadium).
