  1. the is the upgrade price, meaning you'd already have to have the dining package which the 3rd passenger doesn't have. They would have to pay the regular price
  2. no problem. If your sailing is eligible for the double up, you'll actually get 4 points per night because you're also getting an extra point for being in the Haven
  3. I can't point you to anything written, but all insider offers get an extra point per night. It's a benefit of the latitudes program. You can search for the latitudes benefits. I'm responding on my phone right now, but I'm sure I can dig up the link to latitudes benefits when I get to a PC
  4. exactly. I just took one at the port. never even bothered with the online upload
  5. no. It's now one extra on top of the extra already being offered for the insiders offer. So that is how they come up with 2. So for these sailing, you'd get 3 points per night (the 1 standard point plus 2 extras for the insider offer). If you're in a suite, you'd get 4 points per night since suites get an extra point also
  6. Yes, which is always available. Every now and then, they make the $500 certs available
  7. now, if only they would bring back the $500 cruise first certs....
  8. I was on the sailing right before you. We didn't go to DR at all. We were switched to Nassau and didn't get a little about it until the 2nd day.
  9. yes. They still haven't updated the web page yet. If you do a mock booking, you do see that the extra point is there.
  10. the standard past guest offer is 1 point per night. This is saying 1 additional point, so it's 2 points per night.
  11. This is good to know. I just purchased 100 shares so that I can now take advantage of this for future cruises.
  12. yes. Luckily for me, I've been eyeing a 7 day cruise for March at it's one of the select cruises. I'm going to book it next week. I'm also looking at a 9 day sailing next December. Unfortunately, it's still not on the list.
  13. they put that clause in all of their promos. I think it's in there to excludes those sailing solo with no single supplement.
  14. I really think what we're seeing is leftover from the 50% off pricing. This new promo just kicked in today. I'd be shocked if come tomorrow, we see these same prices. By then, all the prices will seem to have doubled because they will put them all back to the regular price, rather than the 50% off price. The actual invoicing system has already been updated.
  15. that is not for the asterisk, it's for the caret, which is for the flight promo
  16. I would suspect that very soon, you'll no longer see this "was"/"now" price on cruises: At the end of the day, it would still be the same price (two people at 50% off = $1,378 vs. One person at full prince + free 2nd person = $1,378)
  17. I think what's happening is they are switching from the 50% off (it's no longer listed as an offer) to the 2nd guest free, but haven't finished updating the systems to accurately reflect it. This would effectively be the same, thus just being a marketing trick
  18. I'l probably have to go to law school to have any chance of understanding what these terms mean, but I'd bet they will point to this to justify how they are pricing cruises with this 2nd free offer:
  19. no, I would have expected them to double the price of the cruise then offer the 2nd guest free, with no solo supplement. That would be a marketing spin. the way it is now is simply wrong.
  20. yeah. If you move to 3 or 4 guest, the price doesn't change so it's applying the 3rd/4th guest free correctly. But definitely there is something fishy going on with the 2nd guest free promo
  21. but it shows that the 2nd guest cruises free promo is applied, so it shouldn't be doubling the price
