  1. Just a note that  Coffee delivered with your breakfast room service is free, coffee delivered any other time is either charged or you need to use your drink pkg.  (the choices through the App or TV come from the IC)

Just got our medallions and I got the sustainable band which has a hard plastic case with a solid back. I put it in the holder and now can’t get it out. I thought they could swapped from lanyard to wristband etc.  Anyone know a trick to get it out?

Just twist the top part and it comes away. The small circle on top not the entire medallion holder

I have another question and I apologize in advance if I sound totally ignorant . (I don't have a grandchild near me to explain the technology.)

I have the Navica app on my phone but if I want to take the test on my laptop should I (can I ?) log in from there?

Or do I log in on the App on my phone and then open a window on the laptop with EMed.com and somehow type in my Navica login info?

Emed.com  on your laptop and you see this, log in with your Navica password.

it’s easier on a laptop if you don’t have a tripod or someone else to hold the phone.

You don’t need to make an appt. You just sign on to emed when you are ready to test.

make sure you make a Navica account and an Emed account.

You will get an email with results you can print and take with you.

Lots of youtube links you can watch

I think I caused the confusion- You don’t need an Emed account. I have one

because it’s how I purchase the tests.

I just got my tests from Fed Ex a few minutes ago.  I've made a Navica account but I don't have an Emed account.  Is that necessary?  Is there a different app for it?  Or is it contained in the Navica account? This is my Plan B and I hope I don't have to use it but I'd like to be ready if I do.  Thanks for any advice.

    Emed.com should sort you out.

The Navica App holds your details but Emed proctors the test

January will be our first cruise (at least we hope we will go) since the pandemic. We've always been able to get on the ship fairly early, but I'm not familiar with the new process. I completed everything on the Medallion app and it says to proceed to the green lane and arrival group is A. What does that mean?? I had enough trouble just getting the app to work right, so I don't want to go back in there...I'm afraid I'll mess everything up!

You just show your docs at the desk (lots of podiums scattered around for check in)  and have your medallion scanned.

    Super Easy!

  7. You need a negative Covid Test to board the ship, you  show the results with your vax card.

Covid 19 Protection Plan- covers cancellations within 30 days of sailing when cancellations are due to testing positive or suspecting you may have Covid.

Tests have been ordered! I did order 2 kits, in case we mess up. If you've ordered the Optum kits, what is the expiration date? The website says the kits "might" expire in February of 2022. Our cruise is in about 3 weeks, so we'll be fine with that, but we also have Alaska booked in June. I guess the tests might expire well before then, but it would be nice if they didn't, to be able to use the 2nd test for that cruise!

I bought tests last week and they expire February 5

Our first cruise since shut down so I have a few questions???
Bingo: still doing the Bingo the same as before?  If not, how is it different?  Prices? Do I need my daubers?
Trivia: How are they doing trivia teams? Play on your own? How many sessions per day.
    Dinner Wine Package available?
    Show times in Princess theater?
Any other changes you can point out? (Other than the mask protocols)

    I can answer a few.

Trivia: as of Dec 17 you could put together a team of 6 from anyone playing in the lounge. On average we had 2 a day and extra fun trivia on sea days

    Shows: 8pm and 10pm

No real noticeable changes other than less passengers

Don't understand the concern for Social Distancing if everyone has been vaccinated.  Social Distancing and mask wearing were designed to prevent the spread of the virus pre-vaccine.  Obviously, neither work well against the spread although the vaccine will save your life and prevent in most cases severe illness.

If you are on an extended cruise you don’t want to test positive mid voyage

(testing occurs every 7 days) or test positive at all if it can be avoided.

I was wondering which lounge that use for the early evening drinks and nibbles for platinum level. I haven't sailed on Sky Princess yet but booked for April. Just looking round the ship to cheer myself up on this gloomy English day.

The past couple of weeks it was in the Vista Lounge on deck 7

  12. It’s easy to check the app or print out from the kiosk daily.

Twice I was charged for drinks that should have been charged to someone sitting nearby.

The servers double checks your name when ordering but with the masks this could be muffled or not understood.
Although they have access to photos as well 😷

It was easy to handle the charges daily instead of waiting till the end or after the cruise.

I enjoyed the App and Medallion use while onboard so no real complaints here.
