Like others have said: really enjoying the photos.

@sid_9169 Your dinner looked simply maaaaaaaaarvelous. (Billy Chrystal style) Your 10 items or less story make me LOL.

@figmentfreak Flower and Garden food!!! YUM!!!! And nope, never been in the Tangled RR. Keep hearing how nice they are. When will you be at Food & Wine? I'll be there in October. Didn't want to hang my vacation hat on a cruise and get disappointed......

@Slainte57 Thanks for the Geneseo bike ride pix

@firstimecruisencl Epcot is my fav too. Then Animal Kingdom, Studios and last Magic Kingdom. Blasphemy I know.

@AmyJA LOL --- My second favorite is HS, then MK and last AK -- everything is just so far apart! My first addiction was to Disney. We took my kids every year growing up, sometimes twice a  year! We had annual passes.  We still go but we usually only get there every other year now. I discovered cruising in 2012 and we've gone every year since. This might be the first year we miss going.

Yes, the food is amazing.  I love to go to Flower and Garden festival and then go back later in the year for Food & Wine Festival

I'm a huge Disney fan here. Epcot is my favorite park.

Yes the view is great when on that side. On one occasion my husband had a great view on the other side. There is a condo right next door and a gal put on a show all day long changing clothes steady with all the blinds open. He and his friend sat in the balcony one whole evening. I guess she couldn’t decide what to wear 😀

I like the hotel but it’s a walk to get anywhere but walking along the bay is nice.

I only stayed there for the one night before the cruise so I didn't go anywhere. We just checked in, had dinner along the bay and went to sleep. LOL We stayed at the Marriott Stanton when we stayed for a few days in Miami. I really enjoyed that hotel because it was right on the beach and that area of Miami was nice and quiet. It was also within walking distance to some nice restaurants.

For one night I would also recommend Marriott Biscayne if you arrive in morning or early afternoon

I have also stayed at the Marriott Biscayne prior to our cruise. We had a room with a view of the cruise ships in port. They had a nice outdoor restaurant area overlooking the bay.

Nice to hear from you - I was wondering where you were.  I had my first Moderna 3 weeks ago and I'm getting the 2nd one tomorrow!  Had no side effects at all for first one and hoping for none tomorrow!

I got the second Moderna on Saturday at 10 am. I started to get upper body aches about six hours after it. Overnight I developed a headache and 100 temp. I took Tylenol and it helped with the symptoms. By Sunday night the symptoms were gone (except for the sore arm from the shot).

Gotta get a pet peeve off my chest......folks who own time shares and camping memberships......they make the statement that they "get to stay for free"........wake up people.......you are paying annual membership fees.......its not "free".....just not out of pocket at that moment......rant over.....back to our regularly scheduled programming!

And don't forget to add in their original purchase price. I agree with you - LOL!

Hi Tribe - I just got my first vaccine dose.  So far, so good.

I got mine on Saturday. I only have sore arm from the shot. They say the second dose is the one that has the side effects.

I don't have any idea what happened, but I think that my right ankle is broken, or fractured, at the very least... It felt perfectly fine while I was out for my walk yesterday, and then while I was watching TV just started to hurt. It wasn't terrible, so I just went to bed, but when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, I couldn't hardly walk. It's swollen on the outside of the ankle joint, and hurts more when I pick it up than when I put it down. I feel like I'm falling apart... First, three days off due to sickness last week, and now this. I'm going to limp into work, but I'm not going to be much help today. It'll probably be dead all day, just like yesterday, so that's good news. We're only supposed to work until noon, so I think that I can survive it. There's probably no hope of getting a doctor's appointment this close to Christmas, and then weekend. He wouldn't be able to do anything anyway, but send me to get an x-ray, which I would also need an appointment for... Looks like I'm "limping into" the holidays...

Don't you have walk-in medical places by you? They usually do x-rays right there. Hopefully it isn't anything!

They're saying that my corona test came back negative, so I guess that I just have a cold or flu... Still, felt like crap all last night, but a little bit better this morning. They said to go ahead and stay home for the rest of the week... With pay, I hope...

Sid---don't be so sure. I would definitely get a second test early next week. 6 people in my sister's family, and my brother's gf were all sick with symptoms and every single one of them tested negative when they went at the start of the symptoms. They all took the test again later in the week and they all came back positive. Hopefully it isn't Corona but you just want to be 100% before you return to work.

Pretty sure there's not going to be any two weeks paid time off no matter what happens... I'm hoping that I even get paid for today and tomorrow...

I thought employers had to pay employees who are waiting for test results or quarantining for 14 day due to a positive test result?

In the overnight hours, whatever this is knocked my you know what in the dirt... Congestion, headache, runny nose, ect. I texted the owner (him) when I got up and asked if he wanted me to get tested, just in case. He's going to set it up so that I can go get a corona test without having to wait in line in a parking lot somewhere... Hoping for the best... I still feel like crap, either way...

Oh no.....just so you know....testing isn't 100% accurate. I had family members who were sick (temp, aches & pains, cold etc.), got tested and it came back negative. They went back a few days later and the tests were positive. So, sometimes if you get tested too early, it won't be accurate. You should really be quarantining for 14 days either way. I hope you feel better soon.

I was bored this morning, so I've been re-reading my old Breakaway review from last year... If you're bored today as well, give it some love...

I was on the Breakaway 5 times. It was my original favorite ship. Then I went on the Escape and that became my favorite ship. I just wish the Escape had an observation lounge like the Bliss. While the ships are similar, I felt the service lacked on the Bliss.

Approaching the very South end of Miami Beach... These are a couple of the buildings you can are when you're sailing out of the channel...

I stayed at the Miami Stanton South Beach in this area and I loved it. It was very quiet. I'm really enjoying your tour!

I'm still trying to figure out how to find the list of members and rankings they are talking about.  Maybe I need a cocktail. Who's in for day drinking?

Click on the magnifying glass where you would search (on the right hand side when you are in the Boards section).

This brings you to Content Search or Member Search. Choose Member Search (on the right).

Don't enter anything and just click Member Search below.

Once it brings up Members -- Sort by Reputation.

This is where Sid shows up first.

My thought is that he gets the most likes on  his posts, but I could be wrong.

    Hope that helps.

Some sellers around here have plans for something like "rent to own." I have no idea how it works, but for those who don't have 20% to put down for a bank mortgage, it makes buying possible. I think I have only seen this plan offered by the builders.

There is also the FHA mortgage for first time home buyers (as long as you haven't owned a home within 3 years so you technically don't need to be a first time home buyer). You only need 3.5% down. Definitely worth looking into.

The other good news is only something we--this year, and def only if the "we" is female-- can appreciate: my hair salon opens next week! No more lopsided hand-trimmed hair! No more noticeable grey in the sunlight! More blond! Yay Yay Yay.

Yay is right! I have an appointment Monday at 1:15. I am so excited!

I took off of work just so I could get my hair done!

    Hey Tribe

Just wanted to quickly check in as I haven't been on here in what feels like forever. I have lots to catch up on! I've been in a pretty dark place the past 2 weeks - just when I think 2020 can't throw anything else at me, it does! I've gone through anger, frustration, sadness, despair....you name it, I've been there. All this while trying to put on a smile and go about my day so my kids don't pick up on just how crappy things are. To add to the pile of poop that is currently 2020, on Friday evening my best friend turned up on my doorstep in tears to tell me that his wife had just passed away. I had literally been facetiming with both of them earlier in the day. She was fine. Young, healthy, fit. Alive one second, dead the next. Still waiting on the coroner's report for cause of death and trying to support my friend who is now staying with me as he can't bring himself to go back to his apartment. It certainly puts some stuff into perspective,

Anyways, didn't mean to be a Debbie Downer, just wanted to check in and say hi and let you know I haven't deserted you all!!!

I'm so sorry. That is so awful...
