OP asked a question so play nice. First time I went through with my 7 year old daughter I felt extremely uncomfortable, I think mostly because I didn’t know what to expect so we turned around quickly. After 20 years and multiple trips back, I understand it’s their livelihood and if I buy something, great but mostly nod my head and keep walking and they leave you alone.

 You did not mention your status with Royal but if you are Diamond or above you will be Elite on Celebrity.  Elite has a happy hour with free drinks each night but it is only during that time frame and is limited to specific brands or drinks. 

 

Now, if you booked with an all inclusive fare, you will have a drink package which gets you 'free drinks' up to the package's limit.  

 

I did mention that we are Diamond on Royal, they let you get your free drinks anytime and yes I’m aware of the drink package 

Interesting topic since we will be sailing on Celebrity for the first time next spring.  We are Diamond on RCL so happy to have our free drinks transfer though on Royal you can use them any time of day or night. Thrilled that there’s no smoking, stopped going to casino since the smoking kicked my asthma into full gear.  We are more amused than bothered by people wearing their pins as a sign of status, we stay away from VIP lounges since that’s not who we are.  Can’t wait to explore and experience Equinox and it’ll be interesting to compare, we’ve loved every RCL ship and have never had a bad cruise, hope this continues with Celebrity.

@soremekun the closet thing I saw to a cruise duck was laying on the ground out front of the Cafe Promenade.  Thankfully I didn’t trip over them daily.

I played pickle ball  once on Allure, so hot even though it was at 9:00 am and couldn’t wait for a Bloody Mary and a shower. Ha, I follow CLR on Instagram, he’s doing a lot of Virgin cruises.

Shortest cruise we’ve done is 6 day but I’d do a 4-5 day one because the minute we leave for the airport (Detroit), we are on vacation! Loved your review as always.

I used to love the muesli but then they added diced bananas  😡. I like bananas but not added to anything..ever..not even banana bread.

We have a cruise booked in November out of Fort Lauderdale, I check daily and right now airfare for two is $1100.00 from Detroit, eek. Well, I’ll only fly Delta and since I’m an extremely anxious flyer, only non-stop. I check daily so hoping prices drop somewhat.

As someone with asthma, I would call your doc and get a script filled for prednisone to have…just in case.
