On our All Access Tour, the galley mentioned that certain areas in the TDR galley took care of allergies if special needs let them know. Not sure of MTD.
-
We had MTD at a schedled (reserved beforevsailing) and was able to request the same table and waiter each night. Luckily, they were available each night with limited wait. Thing about MTD, the kitchen/galley is different than the TDRs where the dietary needs could be met more than MTD galley. This is on Liberty.

Never sailed out of San Juan, but did get affected by our scheduled cruise during Hurricane Harvey. Cruise sailed but we had to cancel because our house flooded. I would encourage anyone to get cruise insurance, just in case. Thank goodness, we do

I completely understand your point, but some people also pay for extras such as dining and beverage packages that are not able to be used due to being sick. People could complain about these kind of factors then Royal could have a disturbed image, causing them to loose guests. Royal needs to upkeep a good public image, which is why they compensate. Therefore, your logic makes complete sense, but the industry adds a business aspect to it, which changes the logic used.
Tis is why people should get insurance. Get verification of quarantine from medical staff and that should be proof for reimbursement of prepaid dining packages and such.

Great if you want to pay big bucks. Does it fly to the location?

Does your sailing have the Key pkg? You get some perks that way
From what I understand, the Key program is a trial basis on Oasis and Liberty.

Just remember JS do not get suite perks other than double points. And the cabin is a little bigger than a balcony.

Sorry to burst in on your question but was wondering with my time dining, as there is just two of us in our party would we be seated alone or with other people?
It is what you would like---table for 2 or a group

I would also getting cruise insurance. We live in Houston and it came in handy when Hurricane Harvey hit and we had to cancel our sailing the very next weekend since our house got 5 feet of water.

Even certified service dogs are not allowed in chairs or in laps. On a leash on the floor or carried while walking. I made a suggestion once before and got negative feedback. I'll make it again. The ONLY way to stop this entitled charade is to make the reaction to it more of a problem than declining passage to an owner. Stand up in dining and LOUDLY protest. Refuse to be seated anywhere within eyesight of a pet. Get others and flood customer service with the same com[plaint. Schedule an appointment with the hotel director and write down the response for future reference. Remember, the ship may not be able to ask for certification, but passengers can. And there are those, and rightfully so, who feel it would embarrassing to an an actual service dog owner. Don't worry, they are easy to recognize. Not in strollers, not dressed up, not defecating in public places, not barking, not seen alone with different adults, and not being available to be pet. Protest. Be more of a pain to RCCI than they are.
And wearing one of those "service animal" vests.

What shows are currently on which ships in the fleet? Saturday Night Fever is on Liberty on this past September cruise.

We have sailed both cruise lines with our grandchildren. To us, it seems RC's children's program is more structured and the counselors actually do activities with the children instead of just sitting and watching as some of the Carnival seems to have been.I think you'll find RCI and Carnival to be more alike than different. Of course, the ship's layouts will be different...but the activities are quite similar! Your children will enjoy the RCI kids club...and on the Oasis class ships, there's PLENTY to do!Sent from my SM-G892A using Forums mobile app

The BC of your youngest is alright as long as it is the official copy with the seal. This is my biggest nightmare after reading about it a few times on here. I will be checking, checking, and re-checking that all passports, BC, ID, etc are in our possession before we leave home and before leaving the hotel on the way down to NOLA and then again when leaving the NOLA hotel before embarkation. We did not get passports for our boys as I didn't see a need and didn't want to spend so much on something that will only last 5 years. I already have their birth certificates in the folder with all cruise documents. One of my son's BC, he was born in 2003, is different from my daughter's and my youngest son's. His BC only has his name, sex, date of birth, county of birth, birth name of mother, and birth name of father on it. The other two have a really detailed BC with all the boxes of ALL info from birth. Is my son's with minimal info on it going to be good enough to board or should I go in and get a copy of it that matches the other two kids'?

It is customary to tip in the Specialty restaurantsHUH?Whether you pre-pay your gratuities or have them added to you bill, there is nothing to give to the crew.
The tips are automatically distributed to the proper people based on the info posted on the RCI site.
ALL wait staff are compensated from the auto gratuities. You do not need to tip in any eating venue, unless you feel you want to, typically based on service above and beyond the normal level.

I just sailed RCI Liberty of the Seas and did not get receipts to put in the envelopes for my pre-paid gratuities. However, we give some extra to room steward and waiters for an excellent job well doneI assume you mean if you prepaid your tips and gratuity when you paid your final payment. If so, you will get receipts to give to the MDR and cabin staff the day before disembarking. Put them in the proper envelopes provided (with any extra tips you may want to add) ,and give to the wait staff etc the last evening at dinner. Give to Cabin attendants or leave the envelopes in your cabin when you leave. Should you eat at other venues beside MDR, We usually give cash tips at each meal.Sent from my SM-G892A using Forums mobile app

For you little one still in a diaper, change it with her standing up. I saw this in a restroom by one of the pools.

I have found that price of Voom, drink packages, and excursions are higher when you get on board. Exceptions might be spa specials while in port
