I just checked Carnival's web site and see only 2 cruises listed for Panama Canal and they both only have interior cabins left. Is Carnival going to quit sailing the Panama Canal?

Princess is your best bet for he canal. Either full or partial transit. They also have enrichment lecturers on board, which greatly enhances the experience. The Coral Princess is a lovely ship. I am platinum on Carnival. On my first Princess cruise I felt like I was platinum. Superior cruise line in all respects.

She looks tiny. I bet it was fun though. Do you remember what you paid?
-
That should be easy for you to accomplish!:) But I have to ask respectfully, why are you here?
Â
It is easy to accomplish. Just book with Princess. A superior experience in every way. You might pay more but to us it is worth it. We don't go on vacation to save money.
The reason I am here is to keep up with what is going on with Carnival. I have friends who cruise Carnival. it's not that I dislike Carnival, I just like Princess more. Last year we took my daughter, grandson and stepdaughter on the Miracle. It was a huge disappointment. My daughter remarked, this sure isn't Princess and she was right. If you like Carnival, that is fine. Princess just suits our taste better.

Great review. Thanks

To not set foot on a Carnival ship again. Sorry

I've never tried the buffet for dinner on Carnival, but have been to the buffet on Princess for dinner. It is very nice. Quiet atmosphere. The waiters provide beverage service. Since the room is not crowded, they have lots of time to chat. That never happens in the dining room. Each night is a different theme. German night is especially good. The assortment of desert cheeses is very good. It is a pleasant change from formal dining.

Isn't ordering Dom Perignon on Carnival a little bit like ordering Milwaukee's Best or Natural Light on Seabourn or Silversea? 😂
Â
Yup! Lol

It's cheap, in every way

Wear whatever you want. Anything goes on Carnival.

Staten island ferry compared to a luxury yacht.

In my opinion, CCL doesn't do old ships well. If I had to pick an old ship, it would be on another line.

This!

IMHO, tipping in advance is condescending and in poor taste. I have never gotten bad service. Always excellent. I ask for what I would like with kindness and respect. They always respond in kind. I tip very generously at the end in appreciation for the good service, not in advance as a bribe.

I thought that round rough soap was the same soap they use in Chinese prison. It's nasty.

Princess has many fewer wheelchairs and scooters than HAL.

You beat me to it

Prowl the pool with an adult beverage in hand.

Try Princess, more your speed, mate

Most sorry strawberries I have ever thrown away.

It would be nice. Id like to try Princess when we go to Alaska but sinxce we will be at the bottom whichever line we choose then I'll shop around more. (No, I don't want to sail carnival to Alaska)
Â
Being at the bottom of Princess is better than being at the top of Carnival. Try it and see.

Would you like to talk about it? We're here to listen.

Their goal is to cut service and raise the the prices,to pay for all the the new ships. And this will continue as long as we keep filling their ships. We are looking into other cruise lines.Have a great next cruise,on another cruise line.
Â
Princess! Buffet is open continuous from 6 to 11. Food is terrific and creative. MDR is terrific. The crew aims to please. Room service includes hot items at no cost except for pizza.

No lobster on the shorter cruises.

Princess does that. 15 days. We did the 10 day partial transit in December on the Coral. Best cruise out of 36 cruises. Canal cruises are not cheap but worth every penny...
