We are sailing in a Haven Suite in September, i emailed pre cruise concierge to ask a few questions, they e-mailed me the suite selection menu but said i would not receive luggage tags in the post or a welcome letter.

It might be as we are from Ireland but i was kind of looking forward to our suite letter and luggage tags.

We are also booked in the Haven in September and we emailed Norwegianconciergedesk@ncl.com. Good luck!!

And just so you know the reservation system usually books in even numbers. So a party of three will be booked as a party of four, you can change it on board. If you had to pay for it in advance then it would make sense to correct it now, if you have the UDP you can wait and fix it on board.

I was guessing that alright, as a lot of availability times were for party's of even numbers. We have the UDP thanks to the free style choice offer but would hate for other guests to miss times due to us double booking items that we will be no shows at.

We have have a haven suite booked for September and while making dining reservations i noticed a few mistakes, Ie party's of 4 instead of 3 etc so i would like to cancel some and shuffle some about. As we are from Ireland so it would be a costly call and would save messing around with dialing codes etc so i was wondering if i emailed the details could they change them.

What I recommend doing is pre booking all the specialty restaurants you want to go to. At least then you'll be on the books and it will be easier to move you around to the times you want. Just because you pre book for certain time doesn't mean you can't change it to fit your schedule. The cocktail/captains party was on the second day of the cruise. They had it at the Grammys Experience. We met the captain and most of the officers there. They were serving h'orderves, wine, and a variety of mix drinks for free. A tip I can offer is to dress up nicely for this event. People really dressed up for this party.

Thanks for all the tips, greatly appreciated. We will pre book all meals, and then swap around on board. Is it recommended to book shows etc as i know they have an area reserved for Haven guests. Thanks for the tip about the Havens Cocktail Party and dressing up, i believe that this is also Norwegians Night Out as well, can you remember the time of the party as we will book dinner for after it. Did you do the Illusion show and thanks again for the pictures.

I would see can you switch the positions like suggested , with you and your brother being passengers 1 and 2. We have done this for our sailing in September, My father is a beer drinker and the odd vodka where is myself and my mother prefer mixed specialty cocktails etc. So me and my mother are pasangers 1 and 2 and my farther the 3rd.

Hi, I am traveling in my parents cabin this year and we have booked a Forward penthouse on the Getaway in September. Myself and my Mother are listed as the main passengers to avail of the drinks package, my father only drinks beer and vodka so we figured it be better for him to payg with us drinking specialty drinks cocktails etc.

My question is can i have a separate account for my own transactions by registering my card to my an account and my parents together on there own.

The 18% is included within the promo for both the UBP and UDP.

Hi, As part of the Freestyle Choice we got both the UDP and UBP free for booking a Haven Suite. I just noticed that a guest with free UDP in a review stated that when they got the check the charges where cancelled but had to pay the gratuity is this correct for both UDP and UBP. From my understanding with the booking i would incur no extra charge so i am wondering what the case is now. I also understand that we will not receive ilusionarium free now since the changes come in in July. Any information would be great

Last September we stayed at the Miami B2 Downtown. We paid $89 for the night. The location was excellent! It is across the street from the Bayside Shopping. You would also be close to the free trolley and the People Mover. As an FYI September is Miami Spice month, which is worth checking out as you can get some great deals at some wonderful restaurants. On the morning of the cruise you can check out Bayfront Park,you can see the ships and if you are so inclined there is a free Yoga in the Park session at 9:00 am (they have mats you can use.)

Hi , We have booked to go on the Getaway in September , Have only done Med cruises. We are traveling from Ireland and we are looking at Hotels within walking distance to some shops and Bars . Our plan is to fly in the 16th September and spend 3 nights in Miami Pre Cruise.

We plan to do Miami Beach/South Beach one day but we are not sure what else,I like the look of South Beach but i am thinking we might be better of in the likes of Bay-side Market Place area which from what i have read has a few dining/drink options close by.

We will not be hiring a car so any recommendations would be grateful

Sorry to hear, we have booked the Haven too for September , i can see with the current euro to dollar rate for us its not good but for Americans coming to Europe its a lot better.
