It's 47 days until our Nov. 3rd cruise and I still can't book entertainment. I get a message that they're working on entertainment shows and that I need to check back closer to sail date. I was able to book shows for our Oct. 27 cruise over a month ago. I even called RCI and was told they see nothing listed for entertainment yet. Huh??? Wishing a Happy Belated Birthday to @dbancroft Hoping @dani negreanu Dani, her DH, cousin and her DH are having a fabulous cruise. @Luckynana Maryann, it made my heart smile reading how well your grandson is doing. Thanks to OB for asking.

Dani, I thought of you immediately when I heard about today's rocket attack in the Tel Aviv area, so relieved you're able to hopefully relax, unwind and enjoy being with family.

Buc'ees has between 80-120 gas pumps. We pass 3 on the way down to Galveston. We have 2 within 30 minutes of where we live. Life is good! Thinking good thoughts today for @dani negreanu Dani and DH flying to Athens to meet her cousin and DH, for their much awaited and well deserved cruise. Enjoy every moment to the fullest!

Glorious weather here in Dallas area. Low 90s, sunshine, 50% humidity. Lunch with "the girls". 3 of my best TX friends, ending lunch at an outdoor Starbuck's, (in the shade) maybe a little shopping at Sam Moon, an accessory paradise. THIS is the weather I love. And no, low 90s is not too hot for me. My wish is that @dani negreanu our Dani, could have a carefree day like this with no worries except what size latte she'll have.

Hard to believe the World Cruise is almost over. I wonder how hard it will be for those on the full cruise to get back to reality at home after 9 months of being at sea, being pampered and hanging out with wonderful new/old friends, visiting exciting ports. Saying goodbye is going to be difficult. Not having to cook one meal in all that time boggles the mind.

Can someone please let me know what the Diamond balcony discount is, both outside and inside of 6 month booking. I tried googling and going into C&A on RCI but all I got was a "dot" to show a discount is available. I probably am not looking in the right place. What else is new? 😕 As always, I'm enjoying all of the delightful pictures in here.

Grandson is 16, our princess granddaughter is 11. He was the shortest boy on his Middle School basketball team. He never let his height stop him from getting on the team of his favorite sport. Thanks for the reminder. Shame you had sign-in problems. I have to put the date on my fridge calendar where I see it all the time, not just when I'm on my cell. BTW, in past cruises, we were never checked for sign in time when we arrived at the terminal.

Last picture of this year's grands TX visit. This was taken at the Ford Center in Frisco, TX where the Dallas Cowboys practice. There was some sort of Meet and Greet with a few players.

My 2nd b2b leg is less than 2 months away and I'm still unable to book entertainment. I was able to book entertainment for the 1st leg approx. 1 month ago so not sure what the issue is. We don't need to see Grease twice but we would like to see the Ice and Aqua shows again. Maybe late night comedy as well. @Tree_skier Love your wife's new red car. @taznremmy Not sure I commented previously but your gorgeous photo of the Statue of Liberty is the most amazing one I've seen.

I am heartsick with the news of the Georgia school shooting. 2 children and 2 teachers dead. Sorry to bring sad news in here but it's weighing heavy on my mind and heart. Shooter is a 14 year old boy in custody. I remember when school was a safe haven for us.

And I took it every July and August weekdays for 10 years going to day camp in Staten Island. We kids loved the triple deck ferries the best. I always looked forward to a soft pretzel with a squeeze of mustard on top. Simple pleasures.

Sue, your threads are amazing pre-cruise as well as during the cruise. These last few countdown days will fly. I know you and Rick will have a super cruise. BTW, for those familiar with Sue's amazing luck in the casino, she can't pass it on to others. I was standing next to her in the casino on Oasis, March 2023, close enough to touch my arm against hers. Nope, nothing, nada at the machines. For me anyway. But what fun we had on that cruise!
