Maryann, safe travels as you and Jim head down to FL. Glad to read all are on the mend! I go every year and never encounter a line. Of course, it's busy inside but not too terrible. I hate that all their deeply discounted stuff is not their usual stock but items brought in from other places. However, I managed to buy $60 worth of stuff for $15.50. Feel better fast! Going to check on Andrew's thread now.

I used to frequent 2 aol chat rooms that had annual gatherings in Vegas and Atlantic City. I must have met approx. 80 people in person from those rooms. Great fun! More people to meet in March on the Bella cruise. If anyone watched SNL back in the day, I think the 90's, Mike Myers played a character, Linda Richman, who was based on his mother in law. Her name was really Linda Richman and was a reg in one of the chatrooms. I met her in person when she gave a talk about her book "I'd Rather Laugh". On occasion, we used to phone call each other and diss some of the chatters. 🤣 I told her Mike sounded more like her than she did. When my daughter married, Linda sent her a beautiful wall hanging made in Israel. What a funny lady.

OMG that's so hard to believe. It was a large part of my childhood also AND my daughter's. To me it can only be Ronzoni. Ronzoni sono buoni. Ronzoni is so good. I did not google! It's like to Bosco jingle. Imbedded in my mind forever. Maryann, I know what you mean! Thanks for responding. I sort of forgot you were in Atlanta. My memory lapses often worries me. Enjoy your Jewel cruise! How is Amanda doing?

Can you guess what finally popped into my head. ? Your story is so heartwarming. How wonderful you and your step-daughter found a new meaningful tradition. If the Applebee's is the one I remember on 59 and Airmont, I wonder if my nephew's HS picture is still on the wall. You HAVE to know what MY reaction is. Ambrosia!

I have 2 questions for @TravelGirlinDallasBethany, or anyone else who was on Adventure not long ago: Did you reserve entertainment (ice, aqua shows, etc.) before boarding on your app, when you board or no need? Pre pandemic no reservations were needed for that class of ship but not sure if things have changed. Also how far in advance were you able to print out luggage tags? Thanks in advance.

I too love National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. Cousin Eddy: "the *****er's full. "It's a Wonderful Life" is truly.....Wonderful. As one who doesn't celebrate Christmas, I totally, thoroughly enjoyed everyone's Christmas stories and amazing pictures. Every time I see beautiful pictures on this thread that I think cannot be topped, a new set of awesome pictures pop up. Thank you for including all of us in your holiday celebrations. I'm sorry it's over for this year. And thank YOU Dani for creating this exceptional place where we can comfortably hang out and share our lives with each other.

@Sea DogGreg, your joy of celebrating Christmas is awesome. Happy belated birthday to Linda. I actually watched "Miracle on 34th Street" yesterday for the bajillionth time, the one with Natalie Wood. Such a sweet movie. @dani negreanu Dani, I remember Sabra Chocolate/Orange liqueur from Israel. So good. Hope everyone reaches their destinations!

Wishing my friends on this special thread who celebrate, a joyful and safe Christmas. Hope Santa is good to each and every one of you. Special thoughts go to those who have lost loved ones this year. Continued Happy Chanukah for those still celebrating our 8 days of potato latkes (pancakes, but not the breakfast kind) and jelly donuts.
