    3 weeks, if you do the land tour in between. To me, the land part is the best part of the trip. (Hoping Royal still overs that.)

    I didn’t even know they did round trip. But why not just cruise up and back on the Radiance. The cruise is less than the flight back down... unless things have changed.

    Yes, another great choice for cheap skates like me! We got lucky and found a 14 night Barcelona to FFL in late October. All in we are at about $57/each night for 2 in a Boardwak balcony above the Auqa Theater. We like the location for people watching.

    $500. Then you are getting picky about the ship. Folks pay double to cruise at Thanksgiving. At that price they are nearly paying you to take the cruise.

    How about Nov 13 Enchantment 14 night Barcelona to Tampa for $477. Is that cheap enough?

    Yes, it is a sad situation. But they don't seem to care how many of us they drive away.

    I said we are no longer just loyal to Royal. The $349/18 night is MSC. We tried them and were very pleased. I also said earlier to find a good travel agent. Booking through the RCL web site always costs you more than you need to pay.

    Read it again with your glasses on. I gave $15/day for port fees and I used your number for tips. Those only get you to $50/day.

    $349 + 288/18 = $35/night. You surely can do port fees for $15/day.

    I am not a TA. Find a good one! But drinks and internet are your problem. I don't need either. But $349 for a16 to 18 night transatlantic is a great price!

    Wait, aren't we all retired? Oh, we are not but we work every other month for about 2.5 weeks to pay for our cruises and other travel. Some people have a drug habit; I have a travel habit. 😃 We finally broke our Royal loyalty and tried some other cruise lines. I agree with your premise, but I'm still finding enough decent rates to have 9 weeks booked.

    We don’t even price newer ships. They are always more. Upcoming 14 night Symphony cruise is $1600 in a balcony. It takes a bit of searching by price per night.
