  1. yup if you choose 1 person 1 device, you can still share with someone else, but only one device can be used at a time...
  2. yeah... there are 2 ways to purchase if you have for example 2 people. Option A: 1 person, 1 device each (x2) - each person will have their own login and can use 1 device per account, more expensive route Option B: 1 person, 2 devices - there will be one login for 2 devices, but the 2 devices can be used with that same login and can be used at the same time, usually this is the cheaper route. So for example, it's my husband and I sailing. We both have iphones and I have a laptop. So I purchased 1 person 2 devices. He will use "1 device" with his iphone and I will use the "2nd device" with my iphone. We can both use our iphones at the same time, but when I need to use my laptop, I'll sign out of my account, freeing up 1 device, which I then can use my laptop...unless I purchase a "3rd device" if I wanted to use all 3 at the same time... but in my case, I don't need to. But people will purchase additional devices if they have more people in their party and don't mind all sharing a login, but they can all use it at the same time. Hope that helps!
  3. I believe if you buy 1 person 2 devices, you can use both devices at the same time... it will only kick you off if you try to use a 3rd device or if you purchase 1 person 1 device.
  4. Oh yes, I think it's plenty 🙂 Go Noles 🙂
  5. Not sure if this was mentioned before just wanted people to be aware. I tried to purchase the voom surf & stream package when the whole Black Friday fiasco was going on. When I couldn’t purchase online, I called Royal. The price that was online was 15.99 per day per guest and 13.99 for an additional device. That was the same price the rep told me on the phone. Great so I told her I wanted to purchase 1 and 1 extra device (so 2 device total for just my husband and I). However when she told me the total was $223.93, I was confused. It didn’t add up. I asked if there was any fees or taxes and she said no. I was confused on why the total was higher and she said that the 13.99 is on the 3rd device, which I didn’t think was true since that’s not what the deal was. Still confused but didn’t want to miss the sale so I just purchased the package and I would figure it out later. Well today I did a mock purchase of the same package and while the deal is exact same, the price was way lower. It’s now $195.93. So I cancelled my old order and just repurchased. So make sure to double check your prices!
  6. Freedom has Starlink. We were just on it back in August and we had the surf & stream internet and was using starlink. Pretty decent speeds and we even streamed Netflix.
  7. We used Voom Surf and Stream when we were on the Freedom of the Seas in August and it was pretty good. It was using Starlink and I was able to get decent speeds. I was even able to stream Netflix... We're going on the symphony of the seas next month and I just got the Voom Surf & Stream for 15.99 per person per day, so that's not a bad deal at all.
  8. Same with me... I called twice and they said the only thing they see on the site is the 67.99 and they can't honor the 62.99 because it doesn't show that, even though I told them it was on there earlier today... what a mess... I just don't understand how they weren't prepared for all of this.
  9. I saw the Deluxe Bev. Package for 62.99 this morning.... Now it's at 67.99. I called them and asked about that and they couldn't honor the 62.99, sucks! They can only do the 67.99 price.
  10. Same with me... I saw the Deluxe Bev. Package for 62.99 this morning.... Now it's at 67.99. I called them and asked about that and they couldn't honor the 62.99, sucks! They can only do the 67.99 price.
  11. I called and they would not honor the 62.99.... they said the only price available is the 67.99
  12. I saw the Deluxe Bev. Package for 62.99 this morning.... Now it's at 67.99. I called them and asked about that and they couldn't honor the 62.99, sucks! They can only do the 67.99 price.
  13. I'm on the Symphony at the end of December and it's showing this on my app. I was able to book all shows already.
  14. I was on Freedom of the Seas in August and they had Starlink there. The whole weekend I was getting about 15-19Mbps but one day I got 29Mbps. I had the Voom Surf + Stream package. It was great. We were able to watch Netflix cuddled in bed 🙂 Total game changer!
  15. As someone who is Brazilian, Leblon cachaça is gross and that's why I think your caipirinha wasn't great. I really don't like Leblon, to me it tastes funny. If you are going to Brazil, and you get an authentic brazilian caipirinha, I guarantee you will see the difference between a really good well made caipirinha with a good cachaça vs someone who can't really make it and uses a bad cachaça. A true caipirinha that is well made is sweet and almost taste like a type of lemonade. You shouldn't taste the alcohol so much (vs a rum or vodka) but it is very strong and that's where it can get dangerous hehe lol my favorite cachaça is Velho Barreiro, and a caipirinha made with this cachaça is soooo good. It's one of the most popular cachaça in Brazil. Also cachaça's don't include basil, cilatro, or mint like a mohito. It's just sugar, lime and cachaça. Enjoy your trip to Brazil!
  16. We will be sailing on the Symphony for Christmas and was wondering how the weather will be in December. Does it get a bit chilly? and by chilly I mean like 65-78ish? (I'm from South FL so that is considered chilly for us lol). Wondering also the water temp? Right now in Miami, the water temp for us locals is a bit on the cold side but wonder if the caribbean will be warmer? thanks!
  17. What do you guys usually bid? Like do you usually do minimum or go up a bit? or even do the max? We were thinking about doing Royal Up upgrade from a balcony to either a larger room with balcony or JS but it would only make sense if we do the minimum, anything more, it would be too much and not worth it for us. Just wanted to see what people usually do and what tends to get accepted often. Thanks!
  18. Is there a way to find out which cabins have beds by the balcony and which cabins have the couch by the balcony? I've seen videos of balconys on youtube but they all seem to be random. Do you think that if I call RC, the reps might know?
  19. So I have booked cabin 14178 on Symphony of the seas and now I’m wondering about noise. I think one of the whirlpools is above us. Anyone stayed near this cabin and can weigh on noise? Also I saw that the balconies might have more of lip on the roof, how does that look? Is it obstructing anything? I’m not sure if the balcony will feel closed up with that roof? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  20. How do you get to Coral World from the cruise pier? Do I just go where all the taxis are and get a taxi there? Just wondering if there is something I should know since it's our first time in St. Thomas. How long of a drive is it? We are in port from 7am to 4pm... we want to to the Seatrek there and just explore the park and maybe go next door to the beach... hopefully we'll have time to do everything! Any tips and tricks are welcome 🙂
  21. On my own... Royal isn't offering it as an excursion.
  22. Has anyone ever done the Dolphin Trek experience in Coral World? Dolphins are my absolute favorite animal and when I saw they offered this, I got so excited. I've done dolphins swims before but this just seemed like a cool different experience. Just wanted to know if anyone has done this and do you get to interact with the dolphins or are you just viewing them from a distance? Is it worth it? Thank you!
  23. We will be in St. Thomas on Dec. 28 from 7:00am to 4pm with Symphony of the Seas. This is our first time in St. Thomas and we are looking for things to do. We were thinking about going to St. John to maybe Trunk Bay, but not sure yet... But as another option, I was wondering if there are any nice resorts on the beach in St. Thomas or even St. John that offers day passes to hang out at the pool, have drinks/lunch and enjoy the beach? Has anyone done that? Which resort was it and what was your experience? Thank you!
  24. We'll be Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas on Dec. 28th as part of our Symphony 7 day cruise. It's our first time in St. Thomas. We were looking for something to do that's a bit more exciting than your typical going to the beach, tour around town, snorkeling and shopping. Being from South Florida, we go to the Keys and dive a lot so we were looking to do something new and experience something more exciting! I realize this is our personal opinion, as people from other states would consider snorkeling exciting since they don't do it often. I see the only semi-exciting thing on the excursion list, is doing the skyride. Does anyone know some other cool things that we can do over there? We would love to for example ride horses, or drive jeeps or atvs off-roading, ziplining, etc... While we would love to stick with RCL and their excursions, we wouldn't mind doing a 3rd party if it is worth it 🙂 Thank you everyone!
