A TA in February? How fun!🤢🥶
The weather in February is cooler, but should be calm seas . U can get good daylight temperatures.
We enjoy Cruising and prefer it to flying, so not a problem 👌

I'm on that one; $845 (£646) solo for an assigned Boardwalk Balcony. Assigned OV Balcony is only $50 (£38) more.
Great price for solo
Not the same price for 2 passengers..
£200 extra for balcony

TAs aren't the bargain they used to be. They are very popular now.
There's still some great deals out there, booked Allure for February 25 Last week, offer still running, with C&A discount on a Gty Balcony £574 pp $100 OBC
Called Royal to get the obc

Updates
On Explorer of the sea atm
Sauna & steamroom working
But the steamroom is temperamental so the changing room attendant said, each morning a plumber has to adjust it to start it up.
Was on Celebrity Infinity in May / June this year. Sauna was in operation then ..

Looks like Explorer will only have a very short 10 day TA🥺since those usually end on the weekend....
If she's going to Cadiz,
She might be going to the ship yard before starting her summer season. And that might mean she would arrive after the weekend without a problem?

I can only say from my recent experience..
I'm doing TA Oct 24 and Oct 25 I purchased them on release day, I've not seen them for less when I track them.. one has gone from £700 -to £1900 for the balcony....when there released and they don't look reasonable price I will hold off , just incase they drop of course
-
Great .. thanks for info.
I'm sure there will be posting on here when that happens.. I'll be watching around that time..
I find they release at the lowest price.

I'm looking at doing transatlantic 2026 -27
When do they release these sailing please?

Yes , they don't get revenue from the free area's I guess .
I was on P&O Arvia recently
She's the same as Iona..

Yes there's a sauna, no steam ..
I'm joining Queen Anne end of August ,
I don't think it has any free area's like saunas etc , but will update here once I've sailed on her
I'm on Celebrity Infinity atm
Nice large sauna in changing room with large sea view window. 4 x showers available..

Not true if booked under European rules! EU passengers are due 150% of the total fare as compensation! You are quoting US rules.....no free cancellation under EU rules!
I've had a Royal cruise from Amsterdam cancelled in the last 6 months ,
I booked in the uk
I got no compensation only a refund
Of deposit & £$200/ 400 towards air fare loss
See what we we're offered

Hello gents,
I’m still considering a short cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette later this year, but finding conflicting information on precisely WHEN this ship was last refurbished. I’ve seen mention here as recently as August, 2023, of the sauna located in the men’s locker room still being intact. However, some of the refurbishment articles describing changes to the fitness area I found were dated October - 2023.
Calling Celebrity to inquire about such information is…a challenge.
Thanks in advance for your insights and I’d also welcome your recommendations on the best sites for information on ship refurbishments.
Best,
GigglewolfOfTheSeas
(founding OP of this thread, est. 2005 😈👍🏻)
I put the post up about it in August,
To my knowledge nothing has changed..
Maybe ask on a forum that is just for that ship ?
