Beautiful Day in Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina just 40 miles North of Myrtle Beach.

Can you just imagine being in an inside cabin for the world tour cruise. 270 days......on Serenade. You couldn't even give me an inside cabin on that one for free. Couldn't stand being in an inside cabin no matter the cost.

Hope they have the crew to handle that many passenger's otherwise get ready again for a lot of bad reviews.

Wanted to add a few pictures from today. Couldn't get inside the Oak Island Lighthouse today and the Fort Caswell was closed only open in the weekend which was a bummer since we are leaving Friday Morning.

Only 42 degrees here in Southport, NC with a high of 61 degrees today. All the fishermen down by the pier are wearing heavy coats on the boats we are seeing. We are heading out later to check out a light house on Oak Island and Fort Caswell. I can imagine it's even colder out at sea for @Sunshine3601 passing heading South on their cruise. She is probably passing North Carolina/South Carolina about now. Probably not a pool day today onboard. Be more likely some added time in the Casino. Good Luck !

Never know by that time they could re-deploy Serenade of the Seas to another itinerary.

It's not really a test menu, it's really going to be the "New" menus. I don't think Royal needs to test anything they do. They just do what they want and you either go with it or you jump ship and book another cruise line. Not that big of deal to them., They don't need our opinions as far as calling it a test.

Stopped for lunch while we were down on the waterfront at "Provisions" It was really good, steamed Shrimp with a Crab Cake,Onion Rings and an awesome Bowl of Hot Chowder.

Yes, sleeping in one of the guest bedrooms. Just noticed the one picture of Lucy rolled up on the top of the couch was photo bombed by the other 2 cats (Jessie and Cody)......Those silly cats having fun at our house without us.

Actually one of our neighbosr recommended a young lady that goes to his church as a house/pet sitter. So we have used her the last few times we have gone on vacation. She is with the cats 24/7 except when she is at work during the day. She has been very good with the cats, She sends us pictures too everyday.
