  1. Traveling transatlantic in May on Island Princess by way of Iceland. Been on many Princess cruises but not this smaller size ship. Can anyone answer what the typical showtimes, these days are at night so can see what is available for private dining in main rooms each evening before the first show time scheduled?
  2. Grand Princess docked at Skagway 8/7 at BRD(broadway) dock, should foretell nothbound cruises will continue here for rest of season. Same 3 ships on Sundays till season end. Somebody twisted the arm of the smaller Silver Shadow ship to give way to Grand and they must tender instead.
  3. Did u interpret that Royal will be there thru the end of the season. If the rest of season, then 1 of the other three ships must have had to take a ship out of service or is changing port of call.
  4. Thanks, so much, for the new resource of docking news. Hope Skagway News is correct info on BRD dock, but at least we are still going to Skagway in one form or the other
  5. Where did you obtain this wonderful Skagway dock positions update? Good news that Grand northbounds will bump up to BRD dock verses tendering at Aft RR as have been hoping and praying.. We are on 8/17 sailing northbound.
  6. A ship the size of Discovery Princess must of used a massive number of tenders?
  7. Since the Broadway dock is open on 8/13 they could offer either the Zuiderdam or even Grand that dock, time will tell.
  8. From day one of the season Grand was to be at Aft RR dock on 8/13 but of course now will tender.
  9. We r with u on 8/17 trip and we should be good, will know for sure when the Grand is due on 8/7 at Skagway with the same 3 ships. We could even walk off on Ore dock verses tender from Aft RR dock. My opinion, will not stop on return of your B2B, will stop elsewhere..
  10. Your Skagway should be good to go as only 3 total ships visit during your day there. Worst case scenario is tender only from Aft railroad dock. Handicapped passengers only an issue for them in this scenario.
  11. Yes, Quantum of Seas was at aft dock on 28th in Skagway. No one anchors/tenders at Skagway probably because the fjord is too deep to do so.
  12. Hope not too many passengers wanting to tender off such a large ship as the Discovery Princess @ Skagway. They better drop as many lifeboat/tenders as possible on that size ship, if crowded, or displeased guests will exist. Port has no tenders to assist. Carnival Miracle used only 2 of their tenders on Saturday, but it's a much smaller ship.
