  1. Thank you for the information. Sounds like a lot of work and I don't have a laptop with me. I guess my photos can "touch!" 🙂
  2. Last night while talking to fellow passengers in the Wheelhouse, they said they were uneasy about the cleanliness of the cushions on their mini-suite couch. We told them how we always "reupholster" our couch cushions with pool towels (or we sometimes ask our room steward for an extra bed sheet). They said they were totally surprised they had not thought of that before. So, I'm sharing this with you all. This happens to be my favorite spot to read on cold sea days when the ship interior is crowded.
  3. It's nice to have friends working on the ship's. This is from someone currently on the Regal Princess.
  4. @Shelly97060 Is that a current photo? TV's not wall mounted???
  5. @We_like_to_cruise I have been following along and have really enjoyed your photos. I have a question, how do you get your photos to post without them "touching" each other. You have an individual border around your photos. I have tried several times to accomplish this but my photos always "touch" each other. Thank you for any advice!
  6. It was a chilly and cloudy day in Puerto Montt today. Lots of construction ongoing on the pedestrian promenade. The promenade is mostly made up of local businesses and has alot of foot traffic. Since our last visit here in 2011 they have added a couple of modern malls, a McDonald's and a couple of Subway sandwich shops.
  7. Good Morning Puerto Montt, the gateway to Chile's Lake District. Currently it is 6° C / 42° F.
  8. We just received our "In-Transit" cards for the second segment of our trip that begins on Sunday.
  9. In our experience, the service in Sabatini's has always been way above the service we have received at the CG. We also prefer the menu at Sabatini's.
  10. You are going to get lots of opinions, but for us when everything else is equal (price, itinerary, etc...) we go with the newer ship everytime. You'll have a great time!
  11. Having been to Alaska a number of times, IMHO the Chilean Fjords are much more dramatic in scope.
  12. We have spent the past hour slooowly cruising by the Amalia Glacier. Hard to believe that Chile has over 1,800 glaciers. As a comparison, Alaska has 664 named glaciers.
  13. This is what we use, purchased on Amazon.
  14. Our favorite place on the ship! This is from the Regal on the Nov TA.
  15. Update: Since our room steward spoke with our neighbors yesterday afternoon, all we hear now is a light clicking sound of their door closing. Peace and quiet has been restored! 🙂
  16. This morning we awoke to rough seas and stormy weather. It was a bit bumpy last night. We are scheduled to arrive at the Amalia Glacier around 3:45 pm. Hopefully, it clears by then.
