  2. Princess has just cancelled Royal cruises, September 5, 2023 thru October 6, 2023. Also, Regal cruises April 9, 2023 thru September 3, 2023. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/plan/impacted-and-cancelled-cruises/cancelled-cruises-royal-sept-through-oct-2023.pdf https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/plan/impacted-and-cancelled-cruises/cancelled-cruises-regal-europe-apr-through-sept-2023.pdf
  3. Great, thank you! We'll be boarding at the end of the Regal's Med run in October for 37 days. Enjoy!!!
  4. They should really spend the money on trained customer service reps and fixing the Medallion app, not on prizes!
  5. From the Princess web site FAQ's: Yes, anyone reporting or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms will be reviewed by the shipboard medical staff and tested for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). COVID-19 cases will be assessed and treated either in their stateroom or in a designated area of the Medical Center in a single occupancy ward. Positive cases that do not require admission to the ship’s medical center, or medical disembarkation, will most likely be moved to a different stateroom for the duration of isolation. If you, your family members, travel companions or other close contacts are quarantined or medically isolated during your voyage as a result of a positive COVID-19 test during your cruise or are suspected of having COVID-19, you are entitled to a 100% Future Cruise Credit for missed cruise days, including time in quarantine, for you, your travel party and any confirmed close contacts. If you have purchased a travel protection plan through us, you and your travel companion may make a claim for a refund under the trip interruption benefit instead of receiving the FCC. Guests ages five and above on back-to-back voyages will need to take a complimentary rapid antigen test within two days of the following voyage, where the following voyage includes a transocean voyage or full Panama Canal transit and the itinerary is 10 days or more. Guests who test positive for COVID-19 will be denied boarding on the next voyage, together with their family members and close contacts who are not fully vaccinated. If you, your family members, travel companions or other close contacts are suspected of having COVID-19, you are entitled to a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC). We will closely monitor guidance from government and health authorities and will adapt and evolve this policy accordingly.

  8. From what I have been told, it is a new ground-up design.
  9. You are late to the game, already a thread going regarding this topic...
  10. It is inevitable that one day the pre-boarding and b2b testing will go away. No one knows when that will happen???
  11. We had dinner there 3 times, on 3 separate cruises on the Majestic and LOVED it each time. We requested a table in the back corner of the restaurant and it was much more secluded. The food and service were A+++!
  12. Same here for us. We board the Regal on Oct 26th in Civitavecchia and disembark 37 days later in Ft Lauderdale.
  13. They can. On our last Majestic cruise in April, during a rough sea night, they kept coming on all night on their own. We had maintenance come in the next morning and totally disable the light.
  14. We had them on the Majestic and the Emerald.
  15. We have done this itinerary 4 times and loved each one! But, you gotta love those sea days! 🛳🛳🛳
  16. We had the OBC's restored on two cruises that had neen refared. The OBC's have been removed when refaring. We used Live Chat and they were restored within 24 hrs.
  17. In December, we will be on the Regal's TA back to the US. If protocols remain the same, will they test everyone onboard prior to arriving in Ft Lauderdale?
  18. Yes, our furthest cruise showing on the app is November of 2023.
  19. Sensor is a little bubble on the base of the fixture, facing the bathroom. We always travel with a roll of black electrical tape and use that to cover the sensors.
  20. We have sailed 65 days, 6 cruises, since November. I tested positive in February on a b2b test (15 day Panama Canal, on the Emerald) and was asymptomatic. I was tested via Antigen and PCR tests. DW never tested positive and was also asymptomatic. We are vaccinated and boostered. We always wore our masks while indoors the ship.
