    So, trying to follow here...

You took the insurance through Expedia for the car and NOT through Enterprise?

Tell me, with all the challenges you are having - the $2000 deposit for the damage, and the loss of use, would that have all been a non-issue if you bought the insurance through Enterprise and not Expedia?

This is a very interesting discussion to me because I am a firm believer in insurance and especially when you suggest that you are more likely to get into an accident in places that you are unfamiliar with.  I agree with that statement.

I want insurance that will cover all perils and not as you (unfortunately) are dealing with that is costing you out of pocket when you thought you were covered.

Correct  I bought the insurance through Expedia a third-party insurance they offered not directly with Enterprise.  I received an insurance contract which if I had bothered reading did state that it did not cover loss of use.  I have not had to make any other claims on a rental car but assume that it would cover loss of use and much less paperwork if you bought insurance directly from the rental agency.

  2. We usually buy the insurance through the rental company as I think there is a bigger chance of getting in an accident when driving places, you are unfamiliar with. It makes driving much more relaxed as if the car gets damaged oh well the rental company will take care of it and it won't affect my personal insurance rates if I do damage the car.  The last time my wife rented we booked through Expedia and they offered insurance for a pretty good price so we bought it.  Unfortunately my wife hit a rock on the narrow roads in Wales and put a dent in the bumper.  Enterprise took a 2000 pound deposit for the damage.  We have got most of it back but the Expedia insurance didn't cover loss of use and Enterprise is trying to charge me for 16 days of loss use.  I am still trying to get them to knock that down to a reasonable number of days.  Very much wish we had gotten her the insurance directly through Enterprise would have made everything much simpler. I understand that for longer rentals it can really add up but for just a day or two I think  it's so much more comforting to just get the rental car insurance from the agency.

  3. Called Princess the agent I got couldn't figure out how to edit the return flight only without touching the first flight.  She said to leave it for awhile cause there's a good chance the airline would make changes to the flights again anyways:)  LOL  Guess I will call again and hopefully another agent will be able to figure it out?

  4. I booked my wife the relaxation area for two 7 day passes.  I went to book myself for the second week but can't get it to complete as it won't let me select the week I want the buttons aren't there.  My cruise is in July. Click the spa then click on the relaxation area.  The price has also went up from $149  to $170 for my cruise:(

  5. Got a notification that the return flight for my brothers flight has been changed.   I booked them their flights with EZ-Air.  I want to pick a different return flight for them but keep the original inbound flight.  The problem is the price for the inbound flight has gone way up so if I rebook both inbound and outbound the price increases however if I could just rebook the outbound flight the price wouldn't but I can't figure out how to rebook just the return flight.

  6. Can't seem to book as when I select reserve relaxation area then I can select name of guest but then it won't let me select the date as the date option doesn't even show but Ican get the mouse pointer to change to a hand so guessing the buttons just aren't showing.  (doing a 14-day Alaska) it also won't do anything if I click on the view details or view cancelation policy. Anyone else having this problem?

    That seems pretty pricey.

I'm guessing we're talking while she's on your side of the globe  in US$, not later in the year when she's on my side in my summer in AUD$ 🤔?. I've just paid $196 AUD for a 10 day pass around the same time (say about $130US)

Yes $170 for 7 days on the Royal Princess in Alaska July 2024 😞

Not at all familiar with what goes on with the spa, but typically if you want to book *anything* prior to the cruise you're going to be charged for it.  Are you saying that you selected this "3 bundle" item and were able to get away with only paying for one?  That seems a bit hard to accept...but then we're talking about a Princess IT system here!

However, if you really only picked one (I have no idea what a spa bundle is...and really don't *need* to know either 😄) and paid for that one instance, just the simple act of walking past the spa area on the ship subjects you to an experience sometimes likened to a carnival sideshow barker.  Unless this is some kind of "really hot item"...you will be able to get it booked on the ship and use any OBC that you may have.

No   the 3 bundle blow out is $150 for three different blowout appointments.  If you select three appointment times then it tries to charge you $450.  I booked her, her first appointment and then I guess she can make the other appointments once we get on the ship hopefully they still have the times she will want.

  9. Booked my wife a 3 bundle blowout from the spa on our 14 day Alaska cruise picked three dates and it wanted to charge me for 3x. I just picked one date as to only be charged once.  Dose she just pick her last 2 dates and times when she gets on the ship?
