  1. What time do activities start on the Navigator on embarkation day? By activities I mean the waterslides, flow rider, rock climbing? I was able to get a 10:30 check-in time so hopping that the activities will start up soon after embarkation to make the most of a 4 day cruise. Are there usually long lines for these activities during the cruise I'm sure the flow rider will have long lines as the line moves so slowly, how about the slides?
  2. My son would like to do some flyboarding when we are in LA before or after our short cruise out of LA. I can't seem to find anyone who offers this in the LA area? I found a place down in San Diego but would rather not drive that far. Do most/any of the beaches offer water activities such as kayaks/paddle boards/seado's? He really wants to try kitesurfing but I think you have to take a course before you can do that correct?
  3. Uber don't go to the terminal door for drop off at LAX?
  4. Yes thinking luggage would be in the trunk of the car as check-in isn't until 3pm?
  5. Will Venice/Santa Monica Pier on Sunday Jun 25 be to crazy to go to? We fly in around 11am LAX wondering if it might be good to go check out the beach and pier for the afternoon? Any suggestions on where to park or how to tackle the area on a Sunday afternoon?
  6. 12 people is a lot for an escape room. My son is very good at them me not so much:)
  7. Was able to book it under ship activities. There are only four of us so hopefully a couple others will join in. Booked it for sea day late afternoon. What is the max people they allow in the escape room at once?
  8. Any one know what they charge per photo if you buy them individually?
  9. Yes get in at 10-11ish have the whole day to kill pretty much then head to the port the following morning. Any good Hermosa Beach supper recommendations?
  10. Anyone have any recommendations for things to do places to eat in the Hermosa Beach area? Sunday Jun 25/23. Fly in around 11am may or may not rent a car depending on if there is enough to do in the area.
  11. Wondering what do they charge for photos on the Navigator? May get a package but also have access to the member benefit of "Buy 1 photo and receive a 50% off second photo (standard events only)" Me and my son both have access to this can we get two at 50% off or is it one per cabin?
  12. Thanks for the reply's. I was a bit leery of using fox. I do have rental car insurance with my credit card but not sure of how big of a hassle it is if you had to make a claim? My boss just made a last min 5 day rental in Florida for $200 total hopefully those deals will make their way back to more places soon? Anyone know how efficient Hertz in San Pedro is for picking up the rental car after the cruise?
  13. First rental Need to get from LAX-Hermosa Beach-San Pedro. Full size car for four of us plus luggage. Right now have Hertz reserved for $154. Pick up LAX Jun 25 drop off San Pedro Jun 26. Any better ideas maybe just Uber to Hotel and Uber to Port? We are flying in at 10am so might be nice to have a car for the day ? Second rental Need a car for two days from San Pedro to LAX. Full size for four of us plus luggage Right now have Hertz reserved for $307 Pick up San Pedro Jun 30 drop off LAX Jul 2 Also have Enterprise reserved for $184 Pick up West Anaheim Jun 30 drop off LAX Jul 2 (Had this booking for when we were planning on doing Disneyland but switched to doing a 4 day cruise instead. Other option is LAX -LAX $121 Fox or $246 Alamo I looked at a LAX to LAX rental from Jun 25-Jul 2 but it's $305 Fox plus $100 parking at the port and I usually get damage coverage when renting for one or two days but that would add up for a full week. Any suggestion or ideas cant believe how expensive rental cars are these days.
  14. Ha ha ya was thinking the same thing:) Kids might want something a bit more active though???
  15. Thanks Do you know is the snorkeling better by the Casino or Lovers Cove?
  16. We used to leave messages on stateroom phones or bring a little magnetic white board for each door you can leave messages on those as to where you will be. Just means more walking but thats not a bad thing on a cruise.
  17. Speaking of playmakers my daughter is 20 and would like to checkout playmakers is she ever allowed in or is it always adults only? Sailing from LA
  18. Do you have to take a tour to snorkel at Catalina or can you just walk in from shore and snorkel Lovers Cove?
  19. LOL Sorry somehow missed that you already answered that question. Thanks very much appreciated 🙂
  20. Hopefully Anyone know how much the escape room costs?
