My husband left his wallet at Reggae Beach Bar and they are holding it for him. We were wondering if anyone that's visiting Reggae Beach Bar can pick it up and mail it back...we'll cover all costs. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!
I did post this on the St. Kitts page as well, but since that page gets very little traffic I'm going to post here and on the Royal Caribbean board.

Yes! It was wonderful! I was a little apprehensive of the older ship after so many years of sailing on much newer and nicer ones, but the Fascination literally felt empty most of the time (except at breakfast- the buffet was a zoo, so we found no one goes to the main dining room and ate most mornings in there before going to port).
Have a fabulous cruise!

Just got off this morning. Our cruise elegant nights were the 3rd and 5th night.
And to answer my own questions~ spaghetti carbonara was night 3 and bitter and blanc was night 4.
The Fascination does not have the American Table menu, which is why we had bitter and blanc on a 7 day menu. Very happy about that!

I just got off the Fascination this morning. We had a suite and had a hair dryer and mini fridge. Our friends in balcony rooms had neither. I would bring one.

Thanks reedprincess - we've decided to do the Pigeon Island tour through Serenity. I saw the recommendation on Trip Advisor and it's what we're looking for (I think you were the one suggesting it!).
Thanks so much for your suggestions! It is much appreciated!

Does anyone have the updated Fascination menus since it began 7 day sailings?
Or can someone who is sailing this or next week take photos of the menus and post them?
If not, can you tell me which nights they have spaghetti carbonara and bitter & blanc so I don't miss those two nights?
Thank you so much!

We're on the 7/31 Fascination out of San Juan and had booked day passes at the Rendezvous Resort. I received a phone call from them stating they will be closed for a while for construction and remodeling and thus cancelled my reservation.
We've done Spencer Ambrose's tours before, and all we really want to do is find a gorgeous beach to lay on and water to swim in for the day.
What other resorts offer day passes? Or are there any gorgeous beaches we can taxi to to spend the day, preferably with food and drinks?

Seriously, anyone who is considering one, we have been in everything from a 1a interior to a grand suite and these rooms are by far our favorite.
I completely agree. I never would've thought I'd be happy in anything other than a balcony, and even my husband was doubtful up until the minute we set foot in the door. Our absolute favorite cabin ever!
But yeah, we ought to stop advertising their awesomeness ~ they're difficult enough to find as it is :-)

Just confirmed by my TA that I am in 9201 for only an additional $10 pp.
Thanks for sharing the pics as I had no idea why folks kept asking for information on this room...:p
13 months to go and counting....
That is awesome!! Please take and post lots of pics! 13 months will fly by in the blink of an eye :-) I don't sail Splendor until next Christmas/New Year's...but I get two weeks in that room!

I also love the spaghetti carbonara and the first night when we go to dinner I always place a special request for it every night of the cruise. Haven't been turned down yet. Some nights its my main course, other an appetizer.
OMG I love you!! lol
This will be my mission this summer

They are called soft drinks in New Orleans - not sodas!! There is also a CVS and a Walgreen's on Decatur - right across the street from one another. You will not see big signs since it is the Quarter. Walgreen's is 619 Decatur and CVS is 620 Decatur.
Soft drinks!! Got it! We will pick up a 12 pack of Coke and Coke Zero and some snacks - peanuts and/or pretzels - at CVS or Walgreens. So glad to know that we're in walking distance.
Not sure when you are getting to NOLA, but I wouldn't hurry to get on the ship. My sister and I got to NOLA early on a Wed. afternoon and checked in to the Hilton Riverside before enjoying a tour of St. Louis Cemetery #1 before catching a small bite to eat at Pat O'Briens. Then we had really yummy BBQ Shrimp at Ole Saint on Royal St. that night. Thursday morning (day of embarkation) we took a stroll down Decatur Street to Central Grocery for a muffaletta. Then we went back to the hotel and got our luggage and went over to the ship. When we got there, there were little/no lines and we just breezed on to the ship with our bellies full of good New Orleans food (which was so much better than anything we got on the ship). We wanted to do Cafe du Monde, but filled up on everything else instead.
I think we're going to take our time on embarkation day as well to get as much eating in as possible lol!!!

Such a great service that I too will miss.

Did you by any chance take pictures of the menus in the MDR?
I'm a dork, I know, but I like to know which nights we can skip the MDR, and which nights (spaghetti carbonana :D ) are not be missed!

Those shirts are hilarious! !!!

Oh thank you so much for posting pics! We booked this room on a back to back next year and cannot wait. We had this same room on the Conquest and it has been our favorite cabin to date!
Thanks again!!

We were just on Conquest and the Piano Dude was pretty good piano player, terrible singer. If arrogance counted, he was Liberace. We went once and survived 20 minutes.
We were on the Conquest recently and the Piano Bar Entertainer was an arrogant d-bag! The piano bar is our favorite nightly hangout~ we prefer it to the comedy club and theater, but we've never experienced anything like this. We went the first 3 nights, then decided we couldn't stand the guy. Every night a group of us (strangers who all became friends because of this lol!) would walk out saying to one another, "Is this guy serious?" He was very childish, rude and condescending to the participants, lecturing and scolding those who were requesting songs that apparently he couldn't play. Half the time we couldn't figure out why he was scolding someone.
We spent the rest of the cruise hanging right outside the nearly empty piano bar at Alchemy and had a great time with some awesome new friends- but we all did miss our piano bar sing-alongs. And a bunch of us who met on this cruise have all since booked the Vista together, and the joke is, "We better not have _______ _______" as our piano bar entertainer.

To the "lady" who took my Yeti cup from the Casino restroom on the April 9 Carnival Freedom. Obviously you don't know about the curse inflicted on those who dare to steal a treasured Yeti.
Your butt will double in size.
This isn't always a curse!:D
So sorry about your Yeti  But your curse is awesome!

Check Jet Blue as well. We found fares less than Southwest.
This is our second summer doing the southern itinerary out of San Juan and both times we booked a year out. That itinerary is amazing with such beautiful islands :)

We have stayed at the Hilton Riverside multiple times. It is within walking distance to about everything.
I'm so glad to hear that. Too bad we don't have more time to take advantage of the location. I will definitely plan better the next time we sail out of NOLA and try to come in a few days earlier.
-
Thank you so much everyone! You confirmed what I thought would be true! Conquest it is!!! [emoji3]
Oh we just got off the Conquest!!! You lucky duck!! That's an awesome itinerary :) Enjoy!

^^^ What everyone above said!
While our Galveston cruise was by far one of our favorites because of the awesome Texans we met (and have remained friends with <3) it was a pain in the arse to fly in and get to port.
Then when we were actually in Galveston the night before, we weren't in walking distance to any grocery or drug stores -- we had to cab to the market.

Quite true. If you are up early enough, you might consider walking to the original cafe du monde in the French quarter for the experience.m (you can also ride the street car that picks up at the Hilton). It is a neat (cash only) place.
I think that's a wonderful idea! I will plan on this!
As for drug stores, there are both Walgreens and CVS on Canal Street, about a 10ish minute walk from the Hilton (just north of the Sheraton and Marriott). There is also a Walgreens on Royal street in the FQ next to the Wyndham.Thank you for this information! We will probably get out early so we're not rushed, then pick our sodas up on the way back to the Hilton to leave for the ship.
Thank you both for your responses :)
Need a favor from anyone currently on the Fascination, or going next week
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Thanks. My husband has spoken to them and it sounds like they agreed the fastest way was to find someone visiting soon and have them pick it up. I was hoping I'd find someone visiting soon - but I'll have him call again tomorrow morning and ask them to ship it.
Thanks for all your responses - it's very much appreciated!
